I also recently acquired sets of JIS screwdrivers and bits. I immediately put all my Phillips screwdrivers except the huge ones away and use the JIS for both. No more camming out on Phillips. Far superior tools and I’ll be acquiring more as the needs arise.

Wow! Compared to the 2 and 4-stroke carbs I’ve worked on in the last 3 years, that carb is on a whole different level! At this point my original strategy to only work on OPE to the exclusion of sports equipment is looking more and more like a good idea! 😉🔧👍

I also have both SAE and metric O-ring assortments after I found that one wasn’t enough to cover most not only sizes but thicknesses. They’re cheap enough that it makes sense to get both. 🔧👍

I always wire out orifices prior to the ultrasonic so there’s a better chance of the passages getting cleaned completely.
