2006 Arctic Cat 400 TRV ATV. Will it run? What Happened??

This 2006 Arctic Cat 400 TRV has become my nightmare! I had it running once, then the starter went out and it's been one thing after another ever since. My ENTIRE summer has been wrapped up in this thing. HELP!! Of course I have questions, and am looking for some advice or help, or both. At this point I'm almost ready to throw my hands up. So, if you read this, leave a comment with what you think could be wrong, how to check enclosed in-line fuses, how to check a CDI box (what end of the tester goes where), anything else you can think of. Check for a broken stator wire where it comes out of the side cover

My 2008 was doing that also (starting but give it gas it would bog down and die), but I found out it wasn’t getting enough air. I checked the air filter and it had became brittle and was flaking. I replaced the filter and it fixed my issue.

I haven't worked on it but I think I loosened the linkage to the gear shift and forgot. That's the only thing it can be because the gears are positioned correctly. I plan on working on it again soon.
