i love manipuri food,whenever i m in guwahati i eat in,afternoon with manipuri and night with assamese food

anju explained it very well ine of manipur....its always a pleasure to eat diff food and know a bit more bout it as opposed to just gulping it down without a clue...hope if i ever come to tht side of the country i'd too wud have some one help me understand the local dishes ...:)

"Highway on my plate"..i have been missing this show since i came to my hostel..now i can watch it once in a while in YOU TUBE..btw i just wannna say thanx to ndtv goodtimes for uploading this videos..and i wud lyk to suggest Rocky and Mayur a better restaurant in Manipur..why can't they come to the proper Imphal..there u can find several fast food and restaurant..serving varieties of Indigenious Manipuri dishes..

Try ethnic assamese dishes like "Khar with papaya dal, Masor Tenga, Lai-saak with pork, pigeon meat with koldil, Posola with duck-meat, Dry-fish+ghost chilli chutney, Pani-tenga" etc and get them served on an assamese traditional BanKahi (kahor-kahi).....
Also Alu-pitika and khorisa.... Duck with baby potatoes...............
