    Forever our 'blue Bill' a heart bigger than your smile, its no surprise that stories are now coming out of your silent generosity. Thank you for the tireless work you have done for the football club we all love. We are the peoples club because of you, and we will miss you, but never forget you.

    Bill was a true blue and football man. Bill was not to blame for not being able to control moshiri and usmanov. No one would be able control or make farhad see the error of his ways. I wish he could have been at matches it wasnt his fault. He did his best for everton. Yes we didnt have the succes in trophies during his tenure but we did have have regular european football and an fa cup final. Rest in peace bill.

    Everything he did for Everton was what he thought best for the club. Everton will never be the same without him. RIP Mr Kenwright you will be missed .

    A truly brilliant man, a staunch and much loved Evertonians. I called our bitter, vitriolic fans, scum for their behaviour before he passed, now I wish all of them nothing but ill will. So many of us loved the man and will hold him in our hearts. RIP Bill x

      Separate his job from the man himself. As a man, we was wonderful and a true blue. As a Chairman, he should have left when moshiri took over.

      A majority of clubs have significant debt before being took over. He stabilised them but brought them zero success

    Fans looked at Bill's involvement at board level with it coinciding with the worse period in Everton's history. They thought it was linked, rightly or wrongly.

    Interesting life in the entertainment world, Bill Kenwright. Who knew he was a pop singer, among other things? If he'd had been more well-known the fans would have backed him whatever. Not quite an Elton, who owned Watford...but listenable.

    Sorry, but Kenwrite’s legacy at Everton is one of failure.
    Before he joined the Everton board in the late 80s the club was arguably the second most successful club in England. Aside from Moyes semi-successful period, Everton has experienced decline ever since. Just my opinion, but Kenwright always hid behind that “I’m a passionate Evertonian and I love my club” persona to divert criticism away from himself over the years

    Bill Kenwright was huge evertonian and obviously loved the club, but the fact is that Everton have stagnated under his stewardship.Then to top it all off he sold the club to Moshiri.
