Its sad to see but its obvious Rob has to go now. Yes...injuries have cost us and Edwards did a great job in getting to the Prem...but,he inherited Nathans team, tweaked a bit and the players themselves hit their personal heights in the Prem..led by players like Barkley. We miss leader Lockyer a lot but Edwards inexperience, lack of tactical nous, stubborness and refusal to change has us now in a relegation battle...the players are not playing for him.....Mark Robins is available and would be ideal to steady the ship and go for it next season.....would cost a lot of money but LTFC is bigger than any manager !!
Depressing to listen to, but I understand, as how can any of us put a positive spin on things the way they are! Only that we must get in 3 of 4 keen, skillfull players in the transfer window, and lose a few who keep getting injured!
Couple of serious questions to all. If you were a professional sportsperson... - would you happily finish you career taking your paycheck but have lost personal pride in your performances? If yes I can understand why you assume that about Moses. If not, why do you think he has? - if you didn't get a transfer that you wanted, would you sulk and not put in the effort? If yes I can understand why people have assumed that about Mengi. If not, why do you think he has? On 'losing the dressing room', which seems to be another predominant belief online now, there's a tell to know if that's happened. Players start to hide and that's yet to have occurred in any meaningful way. I thought Saturdays performance was probably our worst so far. Players making schoolboys errors. Short passes going astray, not controlling the ball under no pressure etc. That's because confidence is close to rock bottom and the thinking is completely addled. In my opinion, they still care and are still trying but nothing will change their output bar a new found belief in themselves and their teammates. A new manager can start that process or even a big signing but it's often just short term. A bit like the 'new dawn' after the Watford win. It's going to take time more than anything. The good news is it surely can't get much worse and then the only way is up!
Well it was better than Saturday, even if a long way to go but you can't say the effort wasn't there. Also makes a bit of a mockery of the lost the dressing room takes.
Its 100% down to the players. Even Pep could not get anything out of the lot we have now. Morris has only had 1 shot in the last 3 games I think. Morris can't play his old game and be Captain at the same time. Ever since Morris has been Captain LTFC have been poor. Its bad when the MOM at home is our Goalie! I would play Pelly and make him Captain maybe. Clark is the only one putting in consistently average to good performances. The only decent manager out there if RE goes is Steve Cooper. The problem is that the tactics are far too complicated with Troloppe and Kyle on their iPads. Go back to basics, we need a Paul Hart and/or Big Mick to assist RE. If you noticed the Swans Manager and his team managed their game so different from LTFC. I have supported LTFC since 1967 and this is not the worse situation I have witnessed.
The podcast is much better with just the three of you boys 👍🏼
Yep. Nice that everyone can get a word in without that long-haired fella talking over everyone.
Harsh😂 I'm sure he has some fans! Looking forward to Forest FA trip! Not so much the performance, more the atmosphere, seeing the ground.

Edwards was lucky to get promoted. His arrangement of his defence is diabolical. Last season as well so many goals conceded.
This lot would struggle in division 1

Depressing but fair guys.

I honestly dont understand why RE do not change his formation.

My word Peter! Make Pelly captain!!
The Swansea goal was down to Morris's bad Captaincy or even Kaminskis lack of control of his area.
Really? It was a very well worked set piece.

Score 3-0 to LTFC against Stoke. In his press conference yesterday RE almost inferred that they were planning for a good January window.
