Will there ever be a movie version of this musical? I saw the original stage version of Miss Saigon in West End back in 1990. There was a long applause at the end and the audience had tears in their eyes. Lea was amazing!

Leah's voice only got better over time, but it still sounds the same. Some singers around their age now have mature so much, but Ms. Leah has pretty much maintained hers quite amazingly
I agree. I’m also a Martin Nievera fan. I love his songs, delivered perfectly but for now, as he aged, there’s a difference already. But I still love him, playing his songs always.
An embarrassment of riches!!! I was disappointed a bit at first seeing that Lea wasn't singing "On My Own" although the singer of course was beautiful. So excited to see that Lea joined in partway through. And then when they came together at the end - GORGEOUS.
The intro of "On My Own" in French is not as powerful as when Lea sang all the way in English The duet towards the end was quite good tho. I believe the whole production had to stage the whole Le Miz musicale.
Maybe Lea Salonga can be a Mrs. Thenardier next Les miserablés 40th anniv. And Michael Ball can make a perfect Javert, "Stars" is just so perfect for him. But i also opt him to be Jean Valjean. I hope that God will grant my wishes, hihihi.
