We loved every nook and cranny of this glorious country!! Safe to say that 5 weeks is not long enough. In this travel vlog, we're finishing our trip back in Tokyo, where it all started.
Tokyo makes Sydney (Australia) feel like a country town. There are never-ending things to do, and no dull moment too. Neon signs, people, businesses, life everywhere. Heading back to where we started, we revisited some of our favourite places like Shibuya, Shinjuku & the Batting Cages!! (Such a guys thing). We loved walking through the vibrant streets of Akihabara, the futuristic wonders of Planet Labs, and the upscale glamour of Ginza. 🌟

    Tokyo Travel Vlog Description:
In this Tokyo vlog, we dived headfirst into the electric paradise of Akihabara, where anime, manga, and all things pop culture reign supreme. We loved all the quirky shops, funky street food, and seeing all the vending machines + rare collectibles.
Planet Labs was also a huge highlight! It was an immersive, artistic, breathtaking experience. Where technology met art and innovation.
We couldn't miss out on the glitz and glamour of Ginza, Tokyo's premier shopping and entertainment district. We strolled down Chuo-Dori, loved the stunning architecture, and walked around the shops with all the luxury brands we can't afford. LOL
Our Tokyo adventure was amazing. We loved our time there, and would do back in a heartbeat.
Thanks so much for taking out the time to watch our Japan Travel Vlog! Definitely pop it on your bucket list 😍 I think the hype is worth it ... As a skeptic about trends / hypes I lifted my eyebrow at why everyone raved on about Japan but I totally get it now, and I think I've got the Japan bug 😅

What a dream! I need to go to a dog cafe 😭❤️

Yes it was heaven!! 😍 And the dog cafe was so cute. The pups were so young so many of them weren't yet toilet trained (so there was pee and a bit of poop on the floor LOL) - but they're cute so it cancels it all out 😂

10:22 The second ginza pronunciation is correct. Hope you guys will make that dream a reality one day of living in Japan. 11:22 Looks like you guys are taking the Narita Express train to the airport from the looks of the seats??

Aha Thank you!! I was second guessing myself and feeling a bit silly 😋 Good to know! And I secretly wish that we can make life in Japan a reality also. Yes, we did take the Narita Express - I love that you could tell just from the seats! Have you been to Japan many times? (Are you a local?)

hmmm,... I would have visited Yanaka Ginza in Taito Ward. It's a real low town neighborhood which sometimes gets used for movies when the director wants to show " traditional " Tokyo (instead of places like Shibuya and Shinjuku which are really artificial). The nearby cemetery is the largest in Tokyo.

Oh wow, I think I may have read about Yanaka Ginza in a book - that's on my bucket list for next time! Thank you for the suggestion *frantically Googles Yanaka and takes notes* 🙃

@@the-creativenomad I feel like Monzen-Nakacho is a little like Yanaka Ginza too ... and there are few to zero foreign tourists ... they're all in Akiba and Shinjuku ... (^_^)

@@towada1066 Love it.. Thanks for the suggestions :) Gotta love super local spots when travelling... I know it's ironic because I'm technically a tourist but it's the best experiencing a city/town as a local would :)

@@the-creativenomad hmmm,... how to say this (?),... in that case, I would leave Tokyo and go to Chiba ... Chiba Park in June has beautiful Oga Lotus blossoms. There is also the Urban Monorail (the longest in the world) ... if you ride line 2 you'll see nothing but suburbs (hmmm, I'm wrong, there is the zoo and Sports Center).
