It doesn't matter so much who's top 11,12... I don't get it why people are so obsessed with that. They are all so close, and depending on the situation some can come out better than another. This is why Tierlist is better than top 10 list
If you really want to test str gohan, run him without the trio and see how he performs. The trio in my books are numer 1, their support is redicilous, dmg reduction, and they can nuke.
At some point though you have to look at more than just defense. Yea Beast isnt dying and he is untouchable for the first 70% of the fight and is even pretty tough after that but gohan is doing more damage while also being for the most part pretty defensively sound for his first turn and then from then onwards when you get him in his standby he is pretty much as untouchable as beast along with having a nuke that can decimate bosses.
Defensively theyre pretty comparable. In the standby having 77% dr and guard youre not dying at all. Gohans only "weak" defensively turn 1 and even then the only fight where thats an issue is cell max cause. Offensively family gohan eclipses beast even on beasts active turn. Only thing beast has over him is the taunt but as shown multiple times you can just outright kill the bosses before it becomes an issue with the finish skill

Not only that, but he has the ability to make other units not die during any given turn. Gohan still dies in base and is heavily restricted. Use any Broly or Teq Vegeta-must-run units on his teams-and he's a wet paper bag in his standby. Nuking a boss only works on certain bosses, requires good RNG in both orb obtainment and crits. And it also relies on the rng on how slowly or quickly you clear a turn. You need to plan ahead, which is fine in and of itself, but even then those plans can be ruined by RNG and you can find you on turn 5 of their active skill against a phase with a sliver of HP left, rendering it worthless. And then you have to hope you got good orb RNG and on the hardest bosses, crit. Beast is immortal and protects every team he's on for free. No RNG. No restrictions. No planning. None of that-he does it for free and does it better, even to the point of surviving a 7.1m super, which would have ended any other unit, even Str Movie 10 Gohan in standby with a full super class rotation under GGT's lead.

Because number 1 should be the all around option that you can put in any situation and not worry while also having a cool mechanic for perfect example beast Gohan he's unkillable can stack attack and has a target mechanic or movie 8 trio where they have an unkillable standby while also giving atk and multiple turn defense support for multiple turns making old units usable where as ssj Gohan can take damage and depends on standby to tank hard hitting supers so he does damage but you would think Mr defense would prefer the actual defensive options

Ssj gohan can fit on damn near every team and has better potential in fights moving forward because doing the damage ceiling cap will always be an effective option. My beast gohan can’t even damage goku and frieza and takes consistent damage from them, you gotta respect a unit who does the same thing while being able to kill the opponent before anyone is in danger.

Nah man. If anything it cemented the trio as #1 and Family Kamehameha as #2 for me. The trio do more damage than beast, they give an ungodly amount of support that beast doesn’t give that makes the entire team significantly better. And i’d argue they almost tank just as well if not better than Beast in slot 1 in certain situations. I have yet to have the trio get caught for me in slot 1.
I feel like I am the only one who thinks it was incredibly stupid that they released two different standby units back to back on literally the exact same team. Them releasing this Gohan immediately with a standby better in basically every way invalidates any reason to use the whole other HALF of the Goku Gohan and Trunks unit; it just feels like a complete waste and a REALLY scummy way to get people to summon on the new Gohan. Also hope you had a great work out Truth!
For anyone actually trying some things with the devil awakens stage, other units like the trio also get clapped there. It seems the crit for bosses might become quite a problem for a lot of units in the future

At first I still had Beast at #1, but after seeing the last fight with Goku/Frieza, I'm convinced this SSJ Gohan is #1 now. Beast and his taunt are OP, but I can't think of a unit who can singularly bypass the entire final phase without having to take even a single attack, not even Orange Piccolo's giant form in its prime was *that* overpowered. Thats crazy lmao

Just clicked on the video, I honestly don't know how this showcase is 3 hours; not only is his stamdby the strongest in the game, he regularly drops multiple 30/40/sometimes 50 mil attack stats with crits in base 😂 he and EZA TEQ Broly are the craziest offensive units I've ever seen
I'm going to be honest, this unit genuinely scares me. how the fuck are they gonna power creep the game if we can just one-shot the boss before they can even do their bullshit? A 30 million super dodge-canceling boss doesn't matter if we can just nuke them before the turn even starts. Like either they make a boss that nullifies beam supers (annoying but manageable) or the enemy starts having 350 million HP with 85% dr and a 6 million super. Just kinda crazy how they made us have a chance at becoming so strong with literally zero interaction from the boss (I say a chance cuz I didn't get shit this celebration)
when bosses are gonna be able to survive the standby attack which can still happen. just give bosses much more hp and give em an aoe super turn 1 and str gohan is cooked.

Just saying how it is, the INT LR Broly showcase went about more smoothly and had a better showing. It's like I was saying, he is just more consistent if you know what you are doing, and despite Truth's horrific takes and extreme biases, he is a good enough player to not drop the ball with INT LR Broly, and so thus why his runs were better. If Truth could just put his biases aside and not be prideful and defensive over well deserved criticisms, he'd correctly assess this and adjust his rankings accordingly. And, just saying it, the reason why Truth wasn't able to get Broly's revive, is because he just was too good and so he just couldn't die when running the team optimally. That's not a negative. That's a positive.
I mean technically it is a negative, because not only int broly but the rest of the team receives a 60% ATK and DEF buff when the revive effect goes off. It’s like the whole other aspect of his kit is unavailable. I feel like if they were gonna go the revive route, you either A) give him no defense so that he can get off the revive, in which he would get a massive defensive buff, or B) they should’ve made Dokkan fest Int Broly one of the better defensive unit in the game. Yes he offers a lot for his team, but he has annoying restrictions, and he’s just OK enough to replace the broly trio. He’s like a 6/10 unit at best, and he’s not really carrying your team the same way TEQ broly or Cell max would. He’s cool for his domain being out whenever you want but even then defensively he’s good ENOUGH for a hard fight. I don’t see how you justify him as a Top 10 utility unit when some of the characters up there are legitimately invincible and are invaluable to their teams, you have to run them. You don’t HAVE to run Int Broly. And that’s what movie bosses needed, an absolute BEAST of a unit to replace hiru or Broly trio.

He takes control of the fight for you from the very start of the fight. He isn't okay with his Domain. He's at the highest level of performance with it. It's why his showcase went better, because he on his team leads to a team that will more consistently win matches. No, he isn't carrying the team's damage, he's making it so those who do have a safeguard so the team rarely will get caught so long as you have above room temperature intellect. So, he's carrying those who will carry the damage by being an amazing tank, offering 15% true support, and giving a guaranteed revive on turn 5/6, which as we saw from Truth's showcase, you will rarely even see just because the team doesn't end up dying. Let me put it like this. He's a 10 / 10 top 5 contender, easily, if your goal in the game is to defeat end game events without your team dying. If you instead see him as a 6/10, then you clearly just don't care about winning and are using some sort of weird alternative metric for grading units. If you took STR Gohan's team featured in this showcase and put it against INT Broly's team in their showcase through a difficult event gauntlet, and the winner was whoever's team died less, INT Broly's would win, hands down. The denial is comical.

@@kaoru8068 AGL UI Goku is dodge or die to any major super with a heavy rng revival that you can't rely on consistently. Not as consistent as INT LR Broly. INT Blue Vegeta revive is locked behind enemy hit rng. Out of your control. Not as consistent. Can get caught by the biggest super attacks unless you get amazing luck and get normaled a bunch of times before the bosses super. Not as consistent as INT LR Broly. Even Beast, who is better than the prior 2, for sure, can get caught if you run out of his intro without building up the rest of his damage reduction against the toughest hitting bosses. Int Broly, with good planning, can be less likely to be caught, but I'd say these 2 are on a similar level for defensive team utility. The team with a bunch of units you falsely say are invincible got caught way more often than Int Broly's Team in their showcase, making the showcase drag on for nearly an entire extra hour. Massive L. Cope harder. I'll just continue never dying while clearing in record time with Int Broly's more consistent team, as his team was setting clear records on multiple of Truth's runs too, as it also has insane offense. Only 2 of those units are slot 1 once SSJ3 falls off. And SSJ3 is not living in slot 2 or 3 with 35% dr. So he does fall right off a cliff. That SSJ3 is such an overrated unit.
Carnival STR SSJ Gohan assassinates bosses before they assassinate you. #1 unit in the game ez. Trio is super close tho. Its not as big a Gap as Beast vs rest of the 9 year anni units.

TBF Gohan is definitely one of the hardest hitters ingame and is the hardest hitting standby ingame. Built up Gohan on his best turn is doing 30 mil 30 mil 30 mil 40 mil all super effective and some of them potentially crit with the right build. His standby can obviously hit 99 mil and in standby he is basically unkillable for 5 turns. I obviously think hes top 3 ingame but im curious as to what his apt calc is.

Just clicked on the video, I honestly don't know how this showcase is 3 hours; not only is his stamdby the strongest in the game, he regularly drops multiple 30/40/sometimes 50 mil attack stats with crits in base 😂 he and EZA TEQ Broly are the craziest offensive units I've ever seen

I'm going to be honest, this unit genuinely scares me. how the fuck are they gonna power creep the game if we can just one-shot the boss before they can even do their bullshit? A 30 million super dodge-canceling boss doesn't matter if we can just nuke them before the turn even starts. Like either they make a boss that nullifies beam supers (annoying but manageable) or the enemy starts having 350 million HP with 85% dr and a 6 million super. Just kinda crazy how they made us have a chance at becoming so strong with literally zero interaction from the boss (I say a chance cuz I didn't get shit this celebration)
when bosses are gonna be able to survive the standby attack which can still happen. just give bosses much more hp and give em an aoe super turn 1 and str gohan is cooked.

Just saying how it is, the INT LR Broly showcase went about more smoothly and had a better showing. It's like I was saying, he is just more consistent if you know what you are doing, and despite Truth's horrific takes and extreme biases, he is a good enough player to not drop the ball with INT LR Broly, and so thus why his runs were better. If Truth could just put his biases aside and not be prideful and defensive over well deserved criticisms, he'd correctly assess this and adjust his rankings accordingly. And, just saying it, the reason why Truth wasn't able to get Broly's revive, is because he just was too good and so he just couldn't die when running the team optimally. That's not a negative. That's a positive.
I mean technically it is a negative, because not only int broly but the rest of the team receives a 60% ATK and DEF buff when the revive effect goes off. It’s like the whole other aspect of his kit is unavailable. I feel like if they were gonna go the revive route, you either A) give him no defense so that he can get off the revive, in which he would get a massive defensive buff, or B) they should’ve made Dokkan fest Int Broly one of the better defensive unit in the game. Yes he offers a lot for his team, but he has annoying restrictions, and he’s just OK enough to replace the broly trio. He’s like a 6/10 unit at best, and he’s not really carrying your team the same way TEQ broly or Cell max would. He’s cool for his domain being out whenever you want but even then defensively he’s good ENOUGH for a hard fight. I don’t see how you justify him as a Top 10 utility unit when some of the characters up there are legitimately invincible and are invaluable to their teams, you have to run them. You don’t HAVE to run Int Broly. And that’s what movie bosses needed, an absolute BEAST of a unit to replace hiru or Broly trio.

The extra benefits you get from getting the revive are just a bonus. If you aren't dying, then you are winning. If you don't die in a run, you win. Do you not understand how the game works? You clear the stage without dying to win. That's the game.
No, Int Broly is insane. You have 6 turns with his domain that you can use from turn 1 and plan out in any fashion you need to win. He takes control of the fight for you from the very start of the fight. He isn't okay with his Domain. He's at the highest level of performance with it. It's why his showcase went better, because he on his team leads to a team that will more consistently win matches.
No, he isn't carrying the team's damage, he's making it so those who do have a safeguard so the team rarely will get caught so long as you have above room temperature intellect. So, he's carrying those who will carry the damage by being an amazing tank, offering 15% true support, and giving a guaranteed revive on turn 5/6, which as we saw from Truth's showcase, you will rarely even see just because the team doesn't end up dying.
Let me put it like this. He's a 10 / 10 top 5 contender, easily, if your goal in the game is to defeat end game events without your team dying. If you instead see him as a 6/10, then you clearly just don't care about winning and are using some sort of weird alternative metric for grading units.
If you took STR Gohan's team featured in this showcase and put it against INT Broly's team in their showcase through a difficult event gauntlet, and the winner was whoever's team died less, INT Broly's would win, hands down. The denial is comical.

You are not telling me a unit who gets damaged by a 2.7 million attack super is enough to even scratch top 5. True type disadvantage or not. We are not grading units on the bare minimum. We’re grading units on how amazing they are. Yk why beast gohan is considered the best, because he does all of what u just said (minus the revive), for longer in the fight and is invincible to borderline every event for 6 turns. Int broly has a good showcase because his team is good, not because he outperforms anyone on his team, ie HE IS NOT A MUST RUN. There’s no reality where he offers anything that game changing and domain clashing is another issue. If you’re looking to win, sure having a revive helps your team, but so does many of the other way better team protector abilities that the top 5 have. Beast gohan get hit once, invincible. Ssj gohan turn 2, invincible. Cell max, turn 2, invincible. Teq broly turn 1-3, invincible. Phy ssj trio, turn 1 24 ki, invincible. AGL MUI, true 100% dodge. Int vegeta, after 2 hits, invincible. I could keep going. Int broly, ehhh domain, he’ll be fine but definitely not untouchable. Run him in the Cell Max event turn one he could get you killed with NO revive available. He’s just ok, and that’s ok. Not every unit has to be a 10/10 god. WAKE UP, the top 10 are all better and more consistent without any annoying conditions to only one category. What other team are u running int broly on??? Not any team that doesn’t have uncontrollable power units
@@kaoru8068 AGL UI Goku is dodge or die to any major super with a heavy rng revival that you can't rely on consistently. Not as consistent as INT LR Broly.
INT Blue Vegeta revive is locked behind enemy hit rng. Out of your control. Not as consistent. Can get caught by the biggest super attacks unless you get amazing luck and get normaled a bunch of times before the bosses super. Not as consistent as INT LR Broly.
Even Beast, who is better than the prior 2, for sure, can get caught if you run out of his intro without building up the rest of his damage reduction against the toughest hitting bosses. Int Broly, with good planning, can be less likely to be caught, but I'd say these 2 are on a similar level for defensive team utility.
The team with a bunch of units you falsely say are invincible got caught way more often than Int Broly's Team in their showcase, making the showcase drag on for nearly an entire extra hour. Massive L. Cope harder. I'll just continue never dying while clearing in record time with Int Broly's more consistent team, as his team was setting clear records on multiple of Truth's runs too, as it also has insane offense. Lol.

Only 2 of those units are slot 1 once SSJ3 falls off. And SSJ3 is not living in slot 2 or 3 with 35% dr. So he does fall right off a cliff. That SSJ3 is such an overrated unit.

TBF Gohan is definitely one of the hardest hitters ingame and is the hardest hitting standby ingame. Built up Gohan on his best turn is doing 30 mil 30 mil 30 mil 40 mil all super effective and some of them potentially crit with the right build. His standby can obviously hit 99 mil and in standby he is basically unkillable for 5 turns. I obviously think hes top 3 ingame but im curious as to what his apt calc is.
