It looks like you are running Rovan front shocks all around on your Outcast. Are they close to the stock shock measurements, eye to eye? That’s a beast setup.

I'm so glad I came across this vid. Question. What did you attach the debris gaurd to in the rear? I was thinking about doing this as well.

the guards attach directly to the stock front steering brace. The steering brace will bolt to the rear diff case the same way as the front.

Hey bro do you think the max 6 with the firms 1250kv will hold its own ?

Do you think a max 6 combo with the 1100kv will be good enough for a outcast exb? Not trying to go stupid fast just want some power and not break the bank I have a roller on the way and looking at options

The weight of the truck is going to cause problems for both the motor & esc. I tried the max6 with both the 1200kv & 1100kv 5687 motors & it cogged too much even at the lowest gearing possible. It did work with the 800kv 56113 but the lower kv is giving it a bit more head room. I bought the max6 1100kv combo only because black Friday sale years back & I only used it in a Limitless a few times.

@@Megasty15 gotch, so what do you recommend? I’m going keep it manly stock not jumping super high. I just want something with okay power and somewhat affordable

@@MrFishgamez The stock system or the max6 & firma 1250kv will definitely hold its own power & speed wise if you want to keep it in one piece stock. Just make sure you get the 8mm shaft motor. Most people want insane speed with these trucks so they gear up the stock system until it fails. 25-26t pinion gives you a perfect balance of speed & power. You'll have to use a 30t+ pinion on the max6 combo to give you the same speed & you won't be able to tell a difference in power cause the motor will be maxed out for the esc.

@@Megasty15 thanks for the help brother! I think I’m gonna go with the max 6 combo with the 1100kv I shouldn’t have any heating issues with a 30tooth pinion?

@@MrFishgamez It should be fine as long as you stick with high-C batteries. Anything in the 100-120c range will keep voltage drop to a minimum. That's usually what kills both the max5 & max6 by overloading the capacitors.
