    Jeff,
    Dr. Michael Brown’s claim to still be a Jew and also that he is a believer in Christ Jesus is false.
    Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
    When I came into Christ Jesus, I had to leave my Greekness outside.
    Dr. Brown thinks that he has brought his Jewishness in with him.
    I am forever praising and believing Jesus is the Christ, and this is pleasing to God.

    A Calvinist and an Arminian got into an argument resulting in the Calvinist shooting the Arminian dead with a gun. In court, however, the Calvinist argued his innocence. His argument? "It was the bullet that killed the man...I never touched him...".If this kind of logic appeals to you ,then perhaps Calvinism is the religion for you...

    • @emerydoerksen8005
      @emerydoerksen8005 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      this doesnt even make sense. the Arminian could say the same thing...
      Also calvinism is not a religion. It's a set of 5 doctrines acknowledged by the Christian church. Although they may not be accepted by everyone in Christianity, that does not make it heresy. Same way i dont apostasize an arminian, a molonist, a presbytarian, etc. is the same reason you should never apostasize a calvinist. If you are indeed a christian who thinks calvinism is a different religion, you might actually find yourself apostasizing your extremely small radical minority from the majority of Christians who acknowledge those who affirm the doctrines of grace as brothers.
      Careful...

    • @davidallin6909
      @davidallin6909 ปีที่แล้ว

      My point is a response to the Calvinistic assertion that, before the foundation of the world, God predetermines certain men to sin and yet is not responsible for the sin which He himself predetermined those same men to commit. Is this a misunderstanding of Calvinism? If so...then please explain what I'm missing...@@emerydoerksen8005

      Actually, the Calvanist throws himself at the mercy of the court and exclaims that he deserves the harshest punishment the court can offer.

    God Sharing His Power and Spirit:
    Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit are separate beings, but it is because they possess the power and spirit of God that makes them as one with the Father. Jesus said, “for as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the son to have life in himself” (John 5:26). This is true for all of those who belong to God, not just Jesus. If we have the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, we will also be raised from death into life (Romans 8:11), inseparable from the Father. God does all of his work through Jesus and through those who belong to him. Without God, Jesus can do nothing (John 5:30) because it is God who doeth the works (John 14:10). Jesus is our Lord and Savior, but the Father is the only God.

      @watchmanofthenight2700 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jesus said, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
      But how so? By His Spirit, He is with us always.
      For He told His disciples: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
      And thus He is with us always, by His Spirit.
      Every one of us is to stand before God with an individual faith, an individual experience, knowing of a certainty that Christ is formed within.
      When God gives us the Spirit of His dear Son, our will becomes His will, and our character is transformed to be like Christ’s character. It is the character of the person of who's Spirit dwells within us, it is not another person, it is the person of Christ that we are transformed into.
      If we do not have His Spirit, then we do not have Christ, and if we have not Christ then we are none of His. Rom 8:9.

    • @Shawn-q3x
      @Shawn-q3x ปีที่แล้ว

      @Scribeintheink No, you speak blasphemy if you are against his words.
      Ephesians 1 beautifully illustrates the relationship of the Father and the Son:
      [2] Grace be to you, and peace, from *God our Father,* AND FROM the Lord Jesus Christ. (note the separation).
      [3] Blessed be the *God and Father* OF our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
      [17] That *THE God OF our Lord Jesus Christ, THE FATHER of glory,* may give unto you *the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of HIM:*
      Clearly here, and throughout the gospel, it is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the one true GOD. ALL THINGS come from the wisdom and revelation of the Father first. Refute this if you will, and you are blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. Repent, and God will forgive. 🙏🏾

      @user-rj8py9ld3j so are you saying that God the Father and Jesus Christ are not the same? That Jesus is not God in the flesh?

    • @Shawn-q3x
      @Shawn-q3x ปีที่แล้ว

      @@waynez.official That’s correct. Jesus is not "God in the flesh." Jesus is the image of God; he is the word of God…but he himself is NOT God. Only the Father holds the title of GOD.
      Look at John 1:14 closely, which so many people get confused:
      "And *the Word [Jesus] was made flesh, and dwelt among us,* (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of *the only begotten of the Father [God],)* full of grace and truth." This verse says 1) Jesus was made flesh…not ‘God’ and 2) Jesus is the glory of the Father by being his only begotten Son.
      John 3:16 says the same thing, but people misconstrue it too:
      "For God [the Father] so loved the world, that he [the Father] gave his only begotten Son [Jesus], that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Father loves us so much that he’d give his own Son for our chance at salvation…and Jesus is okay with that because he is our advocate and loves us too…plus he knows he will go back to the Father.
      There’s a reason God is ‘the Father’ and Jesus is ‘the Son.’ God is not the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit collectively. We are told to teach of them individually, not collectively (Matthew 28:19). Jesus and the Father one in agreement (1 John 5:7-8); they are not ‘the same or part of the same’ entity!

    I’m a fan of Pastor Jeff, but Calvinism is false. Those that the God the Father gives to His Son (Jesus) are those who’ve truly worshipped God, that is they heard, and believed, in reference to John 6. Non Calvinists 100% believe in the sovereignty of God, we just believe that God can achieve His will even with people making their own decisions. God bless you all

    • @obkook7205
      @obkook7205 ปีที่แล้ว

      @jackbridges1506 Appreciate the response. If you're referring to John 6:44 "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." ... it makes my point, that all of those that the Father draws to His Son (Jesus) were worshipping God the Father. Those who loved and worshipped The Father would have known that Jesus is truly the Son of God, as it testifies in scripture. It's why Jesus says in John 5:39 to the Pharisees "You search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life, and these are they which testify of me." If the Pharisees were truly following God the father, they would have had knowledge and revelation of Jesus, but they did not. But there were some early Jews who eventually did, and God the father drew them to Jesus. Amen. Common theme in John. Listen and learn (For whoever has, to him more will be given.) Jesus actually summarizes this point in the next verse in John 6:45: "It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all TAUGHT of God. Every man therefore that hath HEARD, and hath LEARNED of the Father, cometh unto me." Amen.
