    It seemed like I 'stumbled into' your talk today but of course it was the Spirit Who brought me here to comfort me through you, brother Ralph, at a time when I needed this message the most. Thank You Lord.

    It’s important to not confuse aloneness and loneliness. Much fruit in healthy solitude. But loneliness, that’s a tough one. Thanks for a good talk, Ralph.

    Thank you so much from the bottom of my now-full heart for this talk Dr. Martin. There are many times such as those we are living through in today's world when we are filled with a sense of profound loneliness. Thank you for reminding us that we are never alone ... that God is always there listening to the beating of our hearts, the coursing of our tears down our cheeks, and the longing of our souls for the kind of love and understanding that only He can provide in its fullness. He is indeed the remedy for all that ails us. He is indeed the One that makes our journey here on earth as we work toward the Fullness and Completeness of Eternity with Him in Heaven worth all of the joy and profound sadness that we must experience along the way. May God continue to Bless you and your precious Family in abundance.

    That was the most compassionate talk in Christ I have ever heard in 45 years. It is special because it is so very caring. And it reminds us to see and to reach out to others in our post-lapsarian human condition from the foot of the Cross. Thank you, Dr. Martin for your Christ-and- Scripture centered witness which yields so very much fruit for our meditation.

    Mother Teresa was surrounded by people everyday. The world adored and honored her. She lived in close community with sisters who shared a bond stronger than blood. But she was so lonely that she spent many years of her life writing pleas to God to rescue her from the sting of solitude.

    I've collided with lonliness for long periods in life, it feels like icy fingers around your heart, it's profoundly painfull. Thank you brother Ralph for this very important talk, lonliness is rampant but there's a stigma attached to it.

    Dear Brother Ralph: I am so edified by what you share. I'm glad to subscribe for I am so blessed by what you share. I'm so thankful to Jesus for His calling on your life. I have been so helped by the two sharings I listened to this evening. I praise God that He has gifted you with such understanding of Himself and such a way of speaking that difficult concepts are not difficult to follow. What a blessing God has made you.

    Dr. Martin, could you speak sometime on those of us who believe in God's real absolution in the Sacrament of Confession, but who have a very hard time forgiving ourselves?

  • @PaulHubertSOC
    @PaulHubertSOC 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    When one has had ANCHOR relationships, the 'reconfiguration' can be extremely difficult - perhaps especially for such complete analytical thinking introverts such aa myself (100% MBTI INTp/j). But I DO appreciate that Dr. Martin TIES this to our BANISHMENT from the Garden and the CLOSE and immediate connection with our Creator. I was called INTO faith from atheism AS a Protestant, so I don't relate to some Catholic references - and never will this side of the veil but I don't evaluate value on the basis of disagreements!

    I don't know about Catholic theology, but I KNOW that I am SEALED in my Savior, Jesus. My salvation has been assured by His sacrifice on the Roman Cross. It is WALKING in the new life that requires devotion TO the Father!
