Incredible that he started to play drums at 17 years old
Yup- saw Maestro Jimbo live in Honolulu for a drum clinic. Monster drummer. Would have been great to see him with a band as well.

Beech Custom drums and a beech snare drum. Sonor vintage drums were beech, too. It makes for a more controlled sound than maple. A bit mellower. Good for busy playing.
