Yah!! Just want to say I’m about to get my first car, an 86. I’ve been working for it since I was 8. Thank you for getting me interested in cars with that 86. R.I.P. 86
Put some good tires on it as the first change. then upgrade your own driving. I have one. I learned so much from it in 10 months and recently got new tires so now I am hella faster.
I don’t even got an 86 yet but I still watch all these vids to prepare me. Hopefully wishing a year or 2 I should be able to get one. Better than my Accord for sure
One big problem with all of these licensed or cloned Bor-Chuan made in Taiwan coilovers is that they're 3-piece, and their compression stroke is compromised to accommodate their most slammed (3 inches lower) setting. Even if you go for a very mild drop in ride height, you'll still have the same reduced compression stroke that you would if you slammed your car 3 inches lower. IMO if you care at all about performance and the ability to soak up road or track imperfections, and can't afford a quality European 2-piece coilover (AST, Bilstein, JRZ, KW, MCS, Moton, RCE) -- whose shock body is full-sized, not shortened to accommodate stance levels of lowering, and whose ride height is changed by the lower spring perch -- then you're far better off going with lowering springs and a quality shock like the Bilstein B6 or B8.
How is the ride over bumps I got eibach pro kit with struts and over bumps in rides really bad I am just looking to lower my car 1 .4 front and back and get the same ride as stock I don’t see why anybody can’t provide that with lowering springs and coilovers!?!?
I’m currently running the extreme XA coilovers in my 2010 fg turbo falcon , Will be raising it cause having issues where my dump pipe is fouling up on speed humps & issues relating to getting car in driveway and garage, car is way too low Hopefully I can get it adjusted to sit basically standard height for better clearance . How much can they be raised for a safe & comfortable ride ?
Guys.. I bought many things on September 22.. i payed over 6800$ for all those stuff, i still didn't got the supercharger i ordered (35 days later) although they contacted me and told me it will be shipped in 2 - 3 weeks.. The bigger problem is that sales support doesn't respond to me anymore.. P.S: i wasn't pushing them.. i only sent 2 emails / 30 days
Good to see some great Aussie parts manufacturers getting some exposure.

TheBlibitty Blab thanks for the advice. I’ll probably end up doing that along with some suspension boys.
If you’ve been working towards an 86 since you were 8 then you’d only be 14 or younger bc they made the 86 6 years ago 🤔
@@jackcanter6792 he means the AE86.

Have you got an 86 now ?
Lettuce know if you’ve gotten one yet 😅

And dont forget Technically ALL STRUTS are by Definition Coil-Overs. (as the coil goes over the strut)
They were even called that in the 60's
outtakes are hilarious!
You have videos about Pedders lift kit?
