Every time Tormund sees Brienne, I think of a cartoon character with eyes on springs, going boing, boing, boing! Scenes with the two of them are SO funny.

Season 7, where all logic went flying out the window, not with just the characters but those in charge of the show. Source material, the books, ran out in season 5 or 6 I believe and it shows as the seasons go on. Forgot to mention in the last episode but the main characters are seriously wearing a lot of plot armor. Jamie should have drowned in the l00t train episode when Bron pushed him into the river. Wearing that heavy plate mail, even with Bron's help he wouldn't have been able to get back to the surface. Watch the series to the end of season 8 no matter how painful it gets. As far as I'm concerned the series ended at the end of season 6 when Dany was sailing her fleet to Westros. Also, the logistics of this show got flushed down the toilet with this episode. If you've seen the map, then you'll understand the distances. I guess the raven flew at warp speed to get the message to Dany and Dany's dragon flew at warp speed to get to the north. A very big north and some how she knew where Jon was at 🙄
They were there on that rock waiting for Dany overnight, so not sure how long it took for the raven to get from the wall down to Dragonstone, but yeah it does seem a bit too quick.
I get that the Night King was probably banking on this all along, waiting to get a dragon because thats what he needs to get over the wall. But one thing I dont understand is, where the hell did they get all those heavy chains? Wights can forge chain? I would more believe that they would have been spending their time up in the North walking from Free Folk camp to camp gathering anything they could use for rope. But chain??
All in all, yeah the last two seasons aren't perfect. But honestly what were they going to do? GRRM is taking his sweet time with the last two books, barely giving them a shred of an outline of how he saw it end, and so they had to at least come up with something. I kinda wish they didn't rush the episodes, they could have padded it out more. Give them something to do while traveling, cuz really they turn up instantly at locations where they need to be at when we know it takes like a month just to travel from Winterfell to King's Landing.

Thoros was attacked by the bear. He is the one that always brings Beric back to life. If he is dead, he's served his purpose. And Beric is now on his last life.

Ok so this is not a spoiler because they literally NEVER address this in the show, only the books, but yes, when she lost her baby, she lost the ability to have children, according to the witch who cursed Drogo.
But they do say that on the show.
@RyoHazuki224 the book line that leads Dany to believe she's unable to bear more children was left out of the show:
"When the sun rises in the West and sets in the East. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. *When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child* . Then he (Drogo) will return and not before."
Thus Dany becoming pregnant again is as likely as Drogo being as he was. That is to say not likely at all.

I loved this episode. At first I was annoyed about the dragon. However sacrifice is what game of thrones is all about. I also loved season 8. The problem with people s complaints is it’s not the happy endings they would like to see. Yet the endings are appropriate to the characters wants.
You know, sometimes I watch your doggy throughout your reaction. He's all calm and then BAM the music, just the damn music, and his ears spike up and his eyes get even wider. LOL I want to hug him!!!!
Rainey is a lady, she do be watching the show, she's usually just laying down looking up at it but I think she really gets into it!

Yes it doesn't make sense, that's one of the reasons I dislike season 7, daenerys can simply at night or at any other time go to kingslanding and just collapse redkeep or even warn them on her dragonback if they don't submit they are going to die, it doesn't make sense cersei living this long, she should've died in this season but bad writing protected her. Why do you want to prove to cersei that white walkers are real(she is not the one with power, its like instead of daenerys having three dragons its like cersei got three dragons and they need to convince her, tyrion got assassinated) just simply take kingslanding and then prepare for white walkers.

Thoros of Myr is the priest and the one who froze to death, Beric Dondarrion with the one eye is the one with the flaming sword and whos been brought back 6 times..!!! and yes, they had a handful of randos go beyond the wall with them lol so the person who fell into the pit of Wights was a no-name person 😭😭 oh man.. this episode.. this is one of the handful of episodes that makes me cry.. its so sad bro.. that was Viserion, and i have to say.. if i were The Night King and i saw a real, actual dragon flying around for the first time in hundreds of years, i might hafta take one down myself.. now he has one on his side, fighting for the dead!!! imagine being Tormund, Beric and whoever else that has never even SEEN a dragon before, and now youve not only just seen them for the first time ever, but poor Viserion was just killed and now youre ON DROGONS BACK, RIDING ONE!!! and as far as BenJen, he couldnt have gotten on the horse.. Jon was going to freeze to death, and two people on a horse will have it running twice as slow.. if you notice, when it comes trotting in toward The Wall, the horse is about half dead, barely moving..!! now imagine if BenJens weight was on his back, too!!! many times ive complained about the horse to person ratios as well, but this is one of the times where i actually agree with what happened!!! yessss COMING UP NEXT - FINALE!!! ⚔❤🔥💙❤❤🔥⚔

I know, the last two seasons had lost some quality we had in the previous ones (and some parts of season 5 and 6 as well) but I also understand the path the show took, since GRRM left (and also delayed in delivering the new books) the had to continue the story with the main points that George surly gave them, so, the rest of the plot to get to those important points/conclusions had to be made up by the writers, who are clearly not GRRM, and well, their interest for the story was not the big anymore also, but the main ideas are there and it drives to the conclusion needed, so, I’m really fine with it at this moment.
I agree with you, and I can accept every episode from season 7 and 8.... except for this one. This one felt too stupid. The worst episode in the whole show.
The things that bother you about this episode bothered me too. This is the first episode where the writing REALLY started to p*ss me off. There's a guy Australia who's done reviews of some of the episodes, and you both brought up some of the same issues for this episode. He's hilarious, and insightful, and entertaining, and I think you'd enjoy watching it if you haven't already.
I wouldn't normally make a recommendation like this, cause I'm never sure if it's kosher or not, but I've been watching your GOT reactions with you and Rainey since season 1, and I think you deserve some support right now 🤣😂😭🥶lol. And he'll completely validate the things you're thinking: "WTF?" about in this episode.

feels bad you didn't like most of this episode, I thought it was friggin epic!! it's one of my favorites! Uncle Benjin couldn't go back past the wall since it's instilled with magic, he can't cross over being half turned.
Yet the wight that was all the way turned that they captured could 😑 he made it all the way to KL the writing was just 💩

There were plot leaks before this season started. When I read about this episode I did not think the leak could be real because it was so stupid.

Ppl forget that all of those chain of events began with Catlyn kidnapping Tyrion. She started it all. And Arya is not wrong. What exactly did u see? Sansa betrayed Arya lying about the wolf biting joffrey. Arya was there when Ned told them to pack to leave, he knew it was dangerous, Sansa didnt want to go cuz she wanted to marry Joffrey, he stayed because of her. Ned died giving up his honor and lying to keep Sansa safe, she's angry Sansa took that from him. She wrote the letter to Rob to stay in the Lannisters good grace, it wasnt to protect him, sje saw how they did ned, she knew if he xame they'd do the same to him, but she did it for her self. Had she not insisted on staying to marry joffrey cuz she wanted to be a queen so bad, she wouldn't have been in the situations she was in. I dont feel sorry for her, she could have left with the hound, she chise to stay. she could have left with Breann but she chose lil finger, which is why she ended up with Ramsey. She got herself in every situation she was in, every decision she made was because she was still trying to end up a queen. That is how Arya sees it. And that's the truth of it all. I dont like Sansa, If she wasnt Ned's child I would hate her. Shes still wants to be queen of Winterfell and doesnt like the fact they chose John. Arya knows what's going on.

If you think bad to Ned, good people tend to do dumb shit in games of thrones. Ned telling Cersei about knowing her kids aren’t Roberts got Ned killed, probably Robert, and ruined his whole family’s life starting a war. Every choice Tyrion makes for Daenarys has bad consequences. Even John can cause this too by being so good. It’s a dangerous world this is set in and being good means you often can’t imagine what your enemy would do and that lack of foresight gets people killed

There are many things I do not like about the last two seasons. I had high hopes for this excursion of disparate fighters brought together, the execution left much to be desired. Worse, a lot of this was choreographed to MAKE things happen. I know things had to happen in a more linear, quicker way, or else the story would have dragged on; but the 'organic' pacing of events and emergence of tragedies from previous seasons now seem manufactured.
This looks like a journey of days or weeks, so Gendry seems to have the powers of Quicksilver, Ravens and dragons must fly at near supersonic speeds, or our badass crew must have been sitting on their asses on that little island for weeks... You can start to see the bare plot with characterizations just tacked on.

I've never quite seen a reactor turn on the creators/writers QUITE this hard this early. Not at this. Yes, it's building in you in season 7 but it's not there yet. It's season 8 that seals the deal. He got there way earlier than I did. It was the next one.

So.... for several seasons the dead have been marching south to the wall. Yet it only takes this group of guys an afternoon to march north and find them. What the F are the dead doing up there? Walking in circles? Lol

I remember that when this episode came out most fans were still excited for what was to come (myself included) and just kind of brushed off these stupid plot points. Even though it got me yelling at the screen just like you. But looking back, this entire episode was a bad joke... told with really cool special effects.
The whole plan beyond the wall to capture a wight was insanely convoluted and stupid. There were way easier ways to get a wight rather than risk some of the most important main characters. And Daenerys going out there to lose a dragon was also just so dumb
All to convince, Cersei, which everyone knows is irredeemable.
The writing started to go down hill in 6 at some points but 7 it started getting SO bad and this whole plot line made it glaringly obvious
Oh yeah and Tyrion just making poor decision after poor decision almost costing Daenerys everything because of his stupidity and indecision. If only they had made his stupidity part of a long con against Daenerys to protect his brother
😂 not the doggy captions. After seeing the last episode of the season I don't even remember much of Game of Thrones just certain things that happen. I most definitely remember this episode I wasn't as hurt as you were when the dragon died I was just in shock like oh my God this just proves how powerful these white walkers are. But yeah I didn't like Game of Thrones towards the very end all because of how it ended and who became king in the end. I'm not spoiling anything I'm not saying any names for anybody who's just watching along for the first time but that's main reason why Game of Thrones left a bad taste in my mouth. And I don't really like Jon Snow I will share my feelings whenever you get done with the season even though I know you're officially done with it but I will tell you why when that episode uploads.

i believe Sansa is protecting Brienne here. Baelish definitely had something up his sleeve and had plans to get rid of her. i’m not exactly sure what, but him continuing bring Brienne up to Sansa raised some concerns.
i SCREAMED when the Night King shot Vicerion. truly heartbreaking scene. i love Jon but this is the sht that pisses me off! he could’ve been hopped on Drogon and Vicerion would’ve made it. the Stark men are so damn stubborn 😩

Stupid, bad writing takes you out of the episode and puts your attention on the writing. This whole stupid plan was because "we need to get the Night King a dragon". Overall I like season 7 but mainly the first 4 episodes. Once Tyrion has this idiotic plan in episode 5, the season goes downhill from there.
