    I just ordered the regular ones for a 2003 GS300 and I got a box that had a yellow sticker stating “extreme”. I sent it back before opening the box for easier return and reordered but this time directly from BC Racing, got the same sticker on the box. I will call tomorrow to make sure they sent me the right item as opening the original shipping box will make it harder to package and return again. My guess is that they’ll tell me they’re interchangeable. We’ll see, I’ll let you know.

    This was extremely helpful thank you so much. The info you gave here was definitely good because I was wondering the difference before I buy it for my 2016 Honda Accord sport, and I’m one of those people who like to have my car dropped and this helped a lot thank you bro.

    As many of you im confused with what I should get. And talking to BC office doesn't make it any easier. They told me there's not 2 but 3 options: std, -20mm and -30mm extreme low. And also thay added that those low models will be proportionally 20-30% stiffer. That sounds like a LOT. Such a dramatic ride quality compromise is a huge price to pay just for making sure I can get properly low.. any idea how to navigate this jungle? cheers P.S. car is bmw z3 coupe

      The shocks don't really to be built stiffer and you can tune them to be less stiff but the catch is.... The lower you go, the stiffer the shocks have to be. Why? Because if you're 1inch off the ground and have a soft suspension, you're going to be bottoming out and also hitting the ground all the time. To prevent that, you need to stiffen up. Also, you're asking a car that has very little up travel to do the same job as a car that has a ton of travel stock.
      A stiffer suspension is the price you pay the lower you go.
      Another way to put it, if you raised the car way up, you could make the suspension ridiculous soft because you would have tons of room for movement.
      I personally would get the lowest setup possible. You should be able to adjust higher if needed. As for the stiffness, you should be able to tune most of that out unless it's the springs and they are easy to change if needed. Hopefully you can adjust mostly thru valving.

    You did a great job! I definitely can say you assessed everything down to the T . I had gotten normal BCs for my FD but regretted it since I wanted to go lower. I'm getting extreme lows for my S15 Silvia 100%

      Yeah, knowing what I know now.... extreme low for everything I get. I think 99% would agree?

    What's your opinion on the swift spring "upgrade"

    • @satisfiedincorporated
      @satisfiedincorporated  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Never had any experience with them. My thoughts are... "how much better can these springs be?". I have never had an issue with the standard springs they send. 🤷

    I just checked what bc offers for my bmw 5-series and BR extreme lows are with harder springs, BR track are fith same spring rates than extreme low so they are just packing same product with different price tag? 😁

    Do you have to get extreme low if I’m getting swifts springs?

    • @satisfiedincorporated
      @satisfiedincorporated  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Springs won't change the amout that the shock can raise or lower you car.

      If you need to be lower, you need the extreme low or you need to modify your mounts.

    I find it so stupid that every coilover company sells coilovers that pretty much go higher then stock height and when you lower them all the way you barely lower the car by not much. Then you have to take preload off to lower it more. Im pretty sure people wouldnt be mad if the shock at full height and have enought threads is already lower then stock. And when you lower it you can actually get 3-4 inch lowered. Idk anyone who puts coilovers on to go stock height or only 1inch. Shit standard lowering springs start at 1.5 inch pretty much

    • @satisfiedincorporated
      @satisfiedincorporated  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I mean... pretty much... LOL
      Its all design flaws IMO. People are just rushing to put out a product on the market and not understanding it fully.
      Thanks for the comment!

    • @satisfiedincorporated
      @satisfiedincorporated  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends what you want to do with it. Do you want it closer to fully lowered or closer to stock?
      If you didn't know, I have $100 off coilovers right now. Let me know if you need a set

    • @donovans1
      @donovans1 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m just looking for a stand drop. You just to make it look nice with rims and handle a little better. And I know the extremes you have to wait a while to get them. I don’t want to wait a very long time.

    What's the difference within the extreme low divorced rear coilovers and the regular divorced coilovers height wise?
