While facial recognition has the potential to improve security, it raises VERY important privacy and discrimination concerns, and might be coming to a neighborhood near you. I hope there's regulations made on this technology, but... who knows? Let me know what you all think!
The “targeted marketing” thing is gonna be even more invasive. Imagine walking into Walmart and you start getting notifications such as “Welcome back Sarge, the last time you were here you bought ammo. Do you need more?” Or insert anything you want “birth control” “Medications”. Etc
Yes the “mistakes” are going to be very embarrassing when a person is denied admittance to an apartment they rent because the AI thought they were “a burglar” ::cringe::

I've noticed similar situations in other neighborhoods. This technology is the same stuff being used to evict people for stupid reasons! It's crazy how advanced technology has become, and I agree with ya Digital, hopefully this gets limits put on it.
