Been following him for years on Insta and bought quite a few of his lessons. His touch is phenomenal and the Tama Star kits are stellar, soundwise and looks Wise.
Your drumming is amazing, the set suits you! It sounds so fantastic, especially the Tama Starphonic Aluminium, which is perfectly tuned! Thanks for showing.
That is a nice looking kit and it does great! The strongest name in drums keeps making the best drums. I love my Tama Super Star Classic, I get compliments on how mine sound and look.
Congrats on your new Tama endorsement Justin!! I love the GROOVE that you play with. I'm currently playing a Gretsch USA Custom kit and I've noticed that you've played one in some of your videos. May I ask what you found to be the biggest difference between your Gretsch kit and your new Tama Star Walnut kit? Secondly, I'm thinking about getting a Tama Star kit, what attracted you to the Walnut vs the Maple or Bubinga? Thank you Justin!!
Love Tama's! Currently playing a 7 piece starclassic maple but I'm working towards getting my dream kit the Maple Star series. Why maple because of its extreme tuning range compared to other woods. With maple I can manipulate it to play any genre of music as compared to other woods which are very specific sounding depending on what your main style focus of music. I like playing as many styles as I can possibly play which if you want to achieve that it's got to be maple so you got all the diversity in one kit. If your tuning skills are good you can make maple kits fit any genre with just a few correct turns with your tuning key. Also having multiple sets of different style heads will help to get that specific sound you want to achieve without having to buy multiple kits with different woods, that's expensive ✌
I have a SC Maple too and I personally have had a hard time justifying going Star Maple vs Walnut or Bub to have two different tone woods vs two kits of the same.
You really don’t understand how endorsements work. They don’t “give drums away”. He has an agreement with them to only play tama drums and to promote tama drums. In return, he gets support, direct access to the drum makers and representatives at tama, and a nice discount. So he paid for his drums. Just not at full price. This is how all endorsements work. Drums, sticks, heads, cymbals, guitars, amps, bass, etc.
@@hoosierproud7718 The rest are all made in China. Though I heard someone mention that you can get Starclassic's made in Japan but you have to pay Tama an extra fee, probably because the wages etc are higher there. What's the issue with China though? A lot of drum companies produce good drums there. Yamaha even make some of their most expensive drums there now, the Absolute Hybrid Maple, Live Custom Hybrid Oaks and Recording Customs are all made in Japan. These drums cost 3-4k and sound amazing.
probably one of my favourite instagram drummers, so glad for you!
Yes! This guy’s drumming is fantastic! Pretty great to see that he’s a Tama artist now.
Congratulations, very good presentation by the artist Justin Scott, this silver color at Tama was very beautiful.

Very nice Justin and Tama. I still love my Superstar Classic Maples. 🥰🥰
This is awesome man! One of my favorites on Instagram. His independence is ridiculous!!!
The finish on this set is sick!👌Nice playing btw.
It’s the Charcoal Japanese Sen finish.
Great player!! His flow is smooth without effort. Wise choice Tama Drum Co.
Welcome to the family 👍
The snare is straight madness
Méchant beau kit, le son est fabuleux
I even put a Tama front bass drum head on a POS kit that Meade me feel cool on high school to make me feel cool.
Awesome
I have a Star Walnut in Cinnamon Japanese Chestnut. Probably the finest kit I've ever played and I've played plenty!
Yeah there's one on reverb that is literally jaw dropping. Enjoy it!
Hey Justin. What snare do you use?
Much deserved. This guy literally rips.
I love my tama drums. Im Joshua Drummer. I'm 10 years old from new zealand. I have a channel on here aswell Joshua Drummer nz

My 5 year old just walked in and said "He's good at drums." He sure is, buddy. Sure is.
Who is giving this video a thumbs down!?!?!

Been following him for years. Absolutely my favorite drummer of all time. Solid choice Tama!!!!!
so Sean Reinert, I love it!
AAAAAAAYAAAAAAA!!!
Is that the starphonic copper as a side snare
yep
Sounds lush
Sick drumming can’t go wrong with Tama! Now all is left is to make the move to Sabian cymbals 🤘🏾
I sense Dave Weckl's vibes
As long as they keep giving drums away, the prices will never come down.

Tama
Always seeing him in Ig
Pcp147!!!
best
Walnut sounds so good. I much prefer it to Bubinga
BUT........ Where's your Tama wall 'banner' bro?.........
Shocking
Justin is STUPID good. I’m surprised he hasn’t switched to Meinl. Seems like the go-to combination these days is Tama & Meinl.
Flow state.
Sounds good, but that kick is like a drum of DOOM! It's taking over the mix with its long sustain...
Can I have your Zebra drums then?
or Gretsches?
Next step - switch to Meinl
Yikes!!!
To bad there made in china.
They aren't. The Star line are made in Japan.
@@fuzzylogiceire what about the rest? My imperialstars were made in Japan but that was the 1980^s
