Depends how you define proper … you can not test every hardware configuration out there, especially when this includes the kind of hardware used by what amounts to a few dozen Sling TSI customers …
@@walterrawdanik8077 I know there are many configurations, but this is actually their own servo. Either way, for me it fixed the annoying "1 step down but 2 steps up" problem I had.
Thanks Adam. Just to understand, this should fix also the case of flaps not fully retracting and stopping at an "illegal position," after take-off, from the first notch position (as opposed to from fully deflected)?
I was having this issue as well where after takeoff I would press the toggle to raise the flaps and they would not retract. I updated the software today and it appears to have resolved that issue. I also plan to program the new flap logic so it will alarm for flaps down above 85kts as a backup.
Thanks Adam, this update worked great. Flaps are finally operating as expected!
Great explanation.
Thanks for the update. It looks to me like Garmin doesn't have a proper testbed for their software?

The flaps are not Garmin's servo - it's Sling's part number.

Yes it should, let us know if it doesn’t work for you.

@@Slingit_Aviation that’s great to hear, glad it fixed your problem. We have been working with Garmin for a bit of time to get this resolved.
Say, “Sling flap fix” 10 times fast. 😂🤣😆
