Hey Ash, I'm currently using OP12 and I feel that 1+ haven't paid enough attention to the cameras at all the photos turns out overexposed and the colour temp is sometimes hits or miss, I noticed similar things in the sample shots you showed in the video. If they prefect this then OP would go be back to being a flagship killer!
Now that's a proper flagship phone, unlike the crap that Samsung and Apple sell at this price point with just midrange charging speeds at best and battery size also found on many midrange phones while also not providing a charger in box. This phone in comparison is a way more complete device.
So weird, you disappeared from my feed, for such a long time, last video I remember watching was about that guy Sundar or something, anyway glad to see yt recommending you again
Finally a phone from OnePlus where one has to nit-pick the flaws. The camera quality is top class in both video and photos, there's ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a proper IP rating and 4k60 on all lenses. It has everything I wish OnePlus 12 had that I had been quite a critic of, I wish they had gone completely flat for the display panel and the camera design were different but that's hardly a deal breaker to me now. To their credit, the photo quality is A+ even before the global launch, I'm expecting the updates to only improve the things in coming months. A small bump for these HUGE improvements is justified in the price. Thanks for bringing this review Ash!
Great video. Thanks for being so detailed! Only question I have is with the very small curves, do full screen videos/games have any warping or glare? It was the only reason I couldn't enjoy the 12
Review was exceptional as always. As per your review the cameras are exceptional in this phone compared to any previous generation and even there is some Stabilization in 4K in front camera. Am i right bro?? Please continue the same flow bro. Delight to watch your videos. 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
Wow! Great video. 1st time here. I am from the UK and have a OnePlus 10 pro. Looking to upgrade! Your video has given me great insight. I will subscribe for sure!
It would have been perfect if it has a flat display. Love the leather back however. Hopefully they keep this for the next model for more colors and a flat screen!
@C4ETech in the U.S., me & you have spoken many in the past, between phones & handheld gaming consoles. I imported it through Giztop, as I normally do, with these kinds of phones.
@C4ETech Retroid Pocket Mini, but have the RP5 coming in & I also have the ROG Ally X, as well as the RedMagic Nova, if a gaming tablet counts, or means anything lol. Have had many different ones, but usually keep two in rotation, a Windows one & then an Android one.
The OnePlus 13 can potentially be the "high-end flagship killer of the year", but Oppo (OnePlus) will make its annual foolishness and release it internationally in January-February, the Xiaomi 15, Vivo X200 Pro, Honor Magic 7 Pro and even Oppo Find X8 Pro will have dropped in price, but above all it will find itself facing the S25 Plus, and whether you like it or not, we all know that at almost the same price ( just a little more expensive than the OnePlus 13 ) majority of people will choose the S25 Plus 🤷🏽♂️
OnePlus 13 is nice! However OnePlus should make a Smaller version like a Community Edition having 8s Gen 3, 6.4 inch Flat display, 5500 mah, Glass back, Telephoto lens and IP68 rating. I hope someday they bring this in future with One Gen previous processor.
1:50 Since we are anyways going to get the green ones later on in the front of the phone they just removed it from the back altogether. Why bother giving greens in both front and back
Hi bro... waiting for your video. Thankyou for precise and very detailed explanation. I feel 13 took over 12 . Camera felt quite equal to iphone. Also, how about the heating bro. Is it too much compared to the previous models? Did they use any system for cooling?
I would rate the back panel design as a solid 2.5 on a scale of 1-10 🤐 especially the vegan leather back one. This one looks like a realme 12 with a horizontal line or something idk. One plus 12 looked way better. If you cant find a better design, keep the existing one may be 🤷♂️, why make it worse? (Every one will eventually slap on some case and probably no one cares)
I've been using the OnePlus 7T since 2019, but now the battery life has declined, and the back glass is shattered from a drop. I'm looking to upgrade to a phone under 30K with a flat display. My usage is basic, but I want a good software experience, camera, and display for media. Based on your video, I'm considering the Nothing 2A/2A Plus, OnePlus Nord 4, and the Edge 50 Neo (leaning away from Neo due to its smaller display). Could you help me choose the best option?
Looks great all-around, but I'll need to see some comparisons with the Oppo Find X8 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro if a price increase is indeed happening on the global version.
Great video! Love the design and software of one plus, battery will be mega too, can you do a battery test please? Got a, vivo x100ultra but so tempted for this phone as 12 was great, just not sure how good cameras will be compared to x100ultra 🤔
For me personally manufacturers should provide phones with pre installed back covers/cases, becouse in the end everyones gonna put one on their own device. The back design doesn't really matter
I have been looking to jump ship from apple to android and one plus has been the only manufacturer on the radar with compatible 5G bands. I give this design a meh 7/10 whereas the green one from last year I give a full 10/10. I really really loved that jade/marble green finish. It was so beautiful but futureproofing for AI capabilities and meh video quality was the reason I didn't get the 12 especially when we are shelling out close to a $1000 for a phone in this inflation prone economy and you expect em to last at least 5-6 years. If they release a limited edition green marble or leather finish tho I am so getting that hopefully the price isn't any higher.
OnePlus cameras are very underrated and most of the times I found OP performing better than Apple and Samsung non pro models especially in low light conditions
Yeah I think the OnePlus 12 for instance is going to take better shots than an s24 Plus. Obviously the ultra has better specs for cameras but it's also like $500 $600 more money right now.
In the Indian market i don't think it's going to come under 65k or so. The design looks like a budget oriented phone in particular that flash led in the middle of a camera like module makes it look less premium. Sadly, in the Indian market people are kind of sceptical after that green line issues mostly with OP devices, although no brand is untouched with that issue.
I'm happy that OnePlus left the curved screen. It was a huge issue with drops and getting a proper tempered glass for that. Though, I'm not happy with removal of the green color.
Haven’t had a leather-esque-back phone since my Galaxy Note 4 way back in the day but how does the material hold up with sustained exposure to water? I’m thinking if I’m using it out in the rain for a long time or want to bring it in the shower to play music or something. Still leaning towards picking up the black version once it’s global but I am intrigued by this blue one.
Preferred the look of the OnePlus 12, but glad they moved away from the curved screen , now to wait for oxygen rom to be flashed on cheaper CN version 🎉
I hated the metal bit next to the camera circle. It did differentiate the Oneplus devices yes, but didnt please me. I hate the camera circle/square on all brands that do these, but the Oneplus13 design with the offset and underlined H logo is pretty cool. 8/10 design. (Coming from an ancient Oneplus 6 user) Will definitely upgrade to 13 and use it for 4-5 years.
haha I really wish nubia would do a non ultra... the z50 was one of my favorite phones, great value too.. if they could do a z60 or even a z70 it'd be awesome... btw did you get the starry night?
i would rate the design a 6/10 it looks like any other cheap Chinese phones like from tecno kinda and i do really prefer the old design where the metal melts it looked way better
The camera bump should be slightly in the corner rather than in the middle of the back, however phone looks premium. OnePlus did a great job but every chinese phone inspired by apple like dynamic island thing.
8 design. I really like the vegan leather. I would have preferred a leatherish color you know like a brown or something. Of course I haven't seen it in person I'm basing it what I've seen on camera.

It's very old joke now.. OP12 is not having this issue. And very very minimal reported in OP11... So F off
