I consider myself Goth but until a certain time my mother made sure that I wouldn't buy or wear a certain type of more Gothic looking clothes. She hated me being dark and all that. Even my beloved dark liner was a huge problem. So now that I can buy and wear whatever I want I'm slowly buying a new Goth closet.

Just go to your favorite stores and choose black clothing ... all stores have black styles throw on black tights and some fish net and there u go... u don’t have to spend a lot hun. Trust me

lots of the time accessorizing will make a big difference as well! Some gothy jewelry (that you can find pretty cheap as well), styling your hair and makeup and voila!

I live in Greece, 50euros is kind of expensive for many people here too, but it's 50 for the entire outfit, imagine how many combination you can do!
It is kind of expensive for me too, but I think that people with decent jobs can afford it in most countries...Plus we have to consider that good quality clothes, made by well-paid employees, need to cost more the 15euros or something:P
That's why when you do not have money to spend, second hand stores etc is your best friend ^-^

This was so helpful! I'm young and therefore live with my family, and I really don't want to be a strain financially when just getting clothes. I had considered the thrift shopping briefly, but seeing as you are a very cool goth person and you do that too, I'm more confident in myself and I'll definitely start going thrift shopping with my sister more!

I have that same lace dress from Shein! I cut a triangle down the center front just under the waist band so that it can fall open and be more interesting.

Nice video. I tend to just wear a plain pair of black pants, sometimes with a skirt over it and just a nice top, often with lace of some sort, and then just add some jewelry to that. I am pretty big though so my clothing tend to cost a bit unfortunately.

just found your channel and i love the ideas for outfits - goth is often about the details - otherwise it's just wearing black. i wanted to ask if anyone knows the length of the wrap necklace? it could be an easy DIY with basic jewelry supplies, and i'm thinking it may be a perfect solution to wanting to do the current choker trend, but hating things tight on my neck
To me, being goth is expressing yourself and your look so thrifting and creating your own looks is best. Yes, you can buy that Killstar dress though dress it up your way so it becomes your look not everyone else's 😊 Hope that makes sense 😄 Thank you for sharing the awesome looks with us 💜💜 xxxxx
for people in the US i highly recomend forever 21 and tjmaxx for cool clothes that dont cost a butt load, f21 is esspecially great for alternative clothes for all sorts of styles esspecially cutsey urban looks but ive seen some uber gothy stuff there tjmaxx is great for everyday clothes youll wear for many years depends on the brand but i built my goth wardrobe from the ground up at tjmaxx then i sprinkled in some other brand statement peices. pro tip for beginers, just buy basic black clothes you like and silver gothy jewelry, chokers are everywhere you can get all kinds for cheap. and buy lots of different tights and have some for ripping up and some to keep hole free. as for shoes i have 1 pair of demonias i dont wear very much because i feel too extra n my feet get tired so if your like me op for pointy flat shoes and ankle boots for that winklepicker look or combat boots which are a fairly common style in regular stores. flats and ankle boots are especially great if you live in the southern US wheres its too hot 60% of the time to wear cool boots

Is there a possibility for finding smaller size shoes in those styles. My feet are to small for the sizes that are offered.

My main problem is always the clothing and shoe sizes. I'm a very petite girl (4'7 and half) and my shoe size is US 4, in other words practically a kid's size. I always try to find clothes and shoes online and they always run really big but never find gothic shoes/clothes for petite girls and I have noticed that a lot, especially with shoes. But little by little I managed to get some clothing, the problem are the shoes, especially since I want goth boots but can never find them my size. ;w;' But thank you for the video, it is very helpful and you look super pretty in all of those outfits as always~
Asian stores are your savior! Their sizes often run super small, and shoes also fit like 2 sizes smaller..!

Thrift stores! and some asian clothing go XL tho :D The dress of outfit #2 is one I picked for this video on purpose, because it's also for sale in size XL :)
My shoe size is in between 4 and 5 (depends on the shoe) and I tend to shop in the kids' section for shoes, sometimes you can find some really nice things there (nicer than the adult section). Can't really help you with goth boots but I have found some nice combat boots with buckles in the kids' section of a large local chain store so they were really cheap.
Unfortunately I'm quite short but overweight and have pretty large wrists and ankles (due to bones, not fat there) so I have both the small shoe problem and I usually find the cheap clothing isn't made wide enough or just fits wrong, so I can't really help with that part..
I saw lots of cool pieces on shein but I was always worried about the quality since it's fairly cheap? I'll maybe buy some things from there now lol
