LMAO some of us spawned in at Top 16 but yea most of us did show up at Grand Finals, it's a payback too For EVO japan 2019 it would've been AK's story back then if he won against arslan but it's fine this win was a long time coming for him
@@Mezha07 i saw that. AK vs Arslan in finals for EVO japan 2019. He shifted to Paul when his shaheen wasn't working and lost. Now his shaheen looking amazing and aggressive beating everyone.
So happy that he finally won a major tournament. And based on his performance here, I think he's going to be winning a lot more in Tekken 8. It's almost like the game is built for his playstyle.
I like watching players play games with emotions. And AK has shown a lot of emotions. From frustration, to anger, to disappointment, to happiness. I’m proud of the dude. 🤙
AK's comboes are so risky but are very optimal for wall carry. He took risks and that paid off, I discovered AK 2020 and still cheering him every win and lost and seeing him win CB 2024 made me tear up
The way he plays Shaheen looks really cool. Combos look really sick. He does consecutive crouch dash, fake jumps, slides and chops. Really satisfying side step moments plus he actually countered those Victor stuff lol
The Tekken game mechanics and fighting system has evolve so much from 3d to tekken tag, wall and bounce now heat attacks. I think Knee stands out among the evolution and success on different era and Arslan notable multiple successess for Tekken 7 while in T8 is a new challenge still of who will be dominant for the world tournament as some players like AK has found his playstyle compatible with his main character set of moves with the new heat smash and 50/50 tech traps... Notice how most vet players struggle early but this winner's tournament has proved just how much difference a game could change that fits your playstyle.
In the Philippines, Arcade Tekken was huge thing before. I always watch him play when he was a child. Long que for his challengers and kid's win rate was like 75%.
I like AK actually uses the game Mechanic Harada wanted. I rarely see people really use the Sidestepping in the game. They usually do the Korean Backdash. People keep forgetting this is a 3D fighting game.
something felt so off about him this combo breaker run, like hes completely an evolved tekken player its an extraordinary even more glow up to his game and its a very well deserved win after all these year
@@Frizzy125Honestly the only reason some pros don't like T8 is cause it ruins their fundamentals The players you mentioned thrived in Defensive plays but T8 doesn't want that sht, the game is built for players who has the balls to take that 50/50 and all of AK's matches was just that he was taking 50/50 most of the time mind you he could've lost everytime he got punished but nah he took that risk still
that's how tekken 8 should be played. tbh bne was successful making t8 more hype for spectators to watch, T7 was a bit of snooze fest with all the defensive plays.
I saw AK vs Arslan match first before AK vs Farzeen, I gotta say I completely agree. I actually thought Farzeen was the bigger threat to AK than Arslan. Arslan needs to forget about the habits he picked up in T7 coz T8 is almost like a completely different game. It rewards more aggressive plays than defensive plays.
Man T8 was built for him and every aggressive player in the game cause god damn he was always this aggressive in T7 with the new features he just ups the ante lets go PH pride🇵🇭
Arslan's nina was definitely a threat.. but what can duel pistol do to an AK.. his shaheen combos are simple but so complex if you really analyze and watch., the side steps and crouch dash were definitely the highlight of his Win and defeating one of the best tekken player in the world was an tekken life achievement.. congrats!..
Remember when Rangchu Didn't stick to Kuma ? He lost that day But got his Champion Trophy when he came back with more bear booty 😂 Same when AK shifted to Paul coz he can't win But now he is more confident with his main and took the Trophy
one thing i notice is that he loves to just get up and long sidestep. Even arslan lost a couple rounds in grand finals to this. Ak has done alot of sidestepping in tekken 8 and it might really have to be the play here, back stepping is so bad in tekken 8.
he lose so many times, almost always falling short.. but he he persevered, he keeps studying how to make his playstyle better. basically he polished his arsenals like sidesteps, crouch to rising combos, as you can see he also decreased the use of hop kicks unlike before where he just keeps using hop kicks for launch.
I love AK since he's the same nationality as mine. Been watching him since Tekken 7 along with Doujin. Just wanna ask why the majority of audience was rooting for him? Arslan Ash was also good with the mixups and the combos
@@dansyed19 why do you keep focusing on those timestamps and ignore the rest? Flag errors are common. The tournament happened for a few days. Flag mixed up happens. What's important in the finals they got the flags right.
Glad to be a small part of AK insane Combo Breaker run. He's a legend. I tried my best lol
You re beast too!amazing hwoarang!
love the way you played your Hwoarang man!
Ggs you too 🔥
You faced the final boss from the beginning
@mixxyv2463 thank you very much!

True. Had to stop everything i'm doing to watch live.

Been watching him compete since Tag 2. Absolutely teared up seeing him win this live. His reaction was perfect.
pop off for all ages
yeah, his law and Paul user back in tag 2 and he's so good on law i remember watching him when i was in high school
After 5 years...he finally beat Arslan in a Grand Finals. So glad he won. Dude's a beast.
His matches were so aggressive and close that I couldn't breathe even as a spectator 😂
If he wasn't a gigachad enough, boy does the difficult combos too.
All his combos is hard as shit, him doing it in the finals just added another thing to like about him.
He made Shaheen scary af
i tried doing them they are so hard lmao
What is even better, the guy literally use T7 Shaheen combo to wall carry, and I was like, "I didn't know it could do that!!" 😂
Thing is Shaheen's hard combos arent even that hard its just that hes the only one doing them
10:45 like an anime clash was so dope!
ahh, still amazinggg

Victor's gimmicks are annoying😂 Good thing AK destroyed it
Gotta give credit to those combo loops as well. Hard to do specially with the pressure of the match
after i watch AK's shaheen, i think it was really hard to try like his playstyle and combos tbh.
@@rryuko3668 T8 is very much aggressive and it fits AK's playstyle
AK is a different kind of BEAST, man, the DODGES he did was INSANE in the tournament following up with a hard combo finisher, it was just FINESSE.
He did an AMAZING job. The adaptation, the combos, etc. was all perfect. Congratulations to AK on that superb run.
I was screaming during his matches.

can't spell bAngKok without AK
Bruh why is the flag Thailand 😂
AK my favourite Vietnamese player 🇵🇭

epic 🤩
lowkey his heat smash is fire as hell
love the chemistry of steve and rip man so good energy
Highly technical, hard combos, easy to miss. High risk, high reward plays. AK is always so fun to watch, man. He makes Shaheen dance
He made Shaheen looks so sick.

much love to the Philippino people. kind hearted, cheerful people.
He said this was his last tournament if he didn’t win. BUT HE DID!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Very happy for him he was an underdog in the finals like many times before but this time in the end he prevailed against the greatest tekken player.
Im so glad he used Shaheen imma try to learn him more and hopefully become half as good
He uses Shaheen to his full potential ❤
Shaheen is such an underrated character otherwise. He deserves more attention
Ak deserved it. He was awesome at combo breaker. Congrats from a Filipino living in Germany 🇵🇭 🇵🇭 🇵🇭
Crazy. AK got his revenge

Shaheen will be up on the tierlist now lol. He's in the bottom 3 since I started T8.

if you got two then you're the favorite to go for three but ....
And yet still lost
my boy single handily lead to the shaheen nerfs we got. bro i can’t even do one rep of while standing 3 loops that combo is so damn hard

The stance cancels are not easy to do consistently. It’s crazy how good he is at it. And how much he’s doing it in the matches
His sidestep game is insane, mabuhay Ang pilipinas
AK broke the choke shield... AT LAST win a championship...
Stayed. In winners the entire time never went to losers like a true champion

NICE CONTENT!! FOR AK
Whats amazing with this was he never lost a match the whole tournament. One of the best player if not the best from the PH!!
ak problem back then that i tilts a lot and he is very impatient. but now he has changed for the better. gratz man
