I've seen this ws3 loop long before this tournament, it's just hard to do and not many people play Shaheen so not many people have seen this loop out in the wild lol. Knowing this, I was really happy when I saw AK do this in the tournament, that's how you know a Shaheen player is good lol.

I’ll stand by the idea that Shaheen is actually very fun to watch and is a really strong character. I’ve went up against and know at max 5 shaheen players including myself, but seeing him get played at the highest lvl is a mesmerizing experience. The tool kit he has, and him not actually having any actually cracked kind of powers, weapons, or blood. He just slides and dives opponents into oblivion, and it’s great, and he’s not overly oppressive to play against either, which makes it so he isn’t on the radar of getting nerfed. The one character that everyone forgot about making the spotlight and being on the highest stages time in and time out, truly a great sight to see. YA HAVE A MARTIN!

Even the combo route he goes for has >3 points of failure with how hard that combo route is: the 3 snk cancel fc df 2, the micro dash d2, and the ws 3 loops. Being off axis can also mess up that combo which is why he goes for the snk cancel fc df2 since it helps to realign it but the timing on that is incredibly tight not to mention the microdash d+2 follow up after that. He has dropped that combo at certain points during the entire top 8 run. That shit is cool af and no ordinary pro player can go for that combo every time. He’s just built different.
you don’t see shaheen players do the stealth step while standing 3 cancels because it’s fucking impossible at my levels. You can’t get one rep consistently and if you do the input wrong you get his kick flip instead which switches sides ie you just put yourself up against the wall. it’s probably the hardest combo in the game imo right up there with 5+ electrics or perfect electric punish
