    I love these, I remember test riding one when they first came out, great bike, great handling, usable power, light and comfortable. I had a 2000 R1 at the time and it wasn't as usable, it was a lot of fun though but an animal

    I raced an 09 r1 on my 02 954 and it was a completely even race. The bike is light and therefore makes more horsepower.

      Devon DeOrio see for me its more how the bike makes its power i have not had a chance to ride a big bang r1 but ive been told the crossplane crank makes a big difference to the feel and the power curve

      It saved me once already, under heavy short (2 finger brutal front brake) braking at speed racing some tuned car and a up down up wobble in the road the rear came up and landed abit sideways i believe going 120/160 kmph or so. Shifting down at the same time the rear wheel blocked, came up 2cm, landed, and the bike steer went beserko when I released brake before/in the corner!!! . I clutched it 50% while it was ripping left n right, throttled it low rpm, grabbed the tank with my legs, and just let the lower weight part of the bike correct itself while the whole lower part of the bike was sliding like ice in an short S shape movement/dance move at high G force. the seat stayed in the middle. It was like riding a already mad horse but even on cocaine in some way. And I dove into the right into left S corner just in time better than a videogame recovery LOL, it took about 2 or 3 seconds which is a lifetime, especially when you have a corner ahead you might need to take, preferrably in the right time... x) drove 1 minute, got off and smoked a sig... And reevaluated my choices x). Im of opinion the hyperpro damper at least helped me. The wobble was very intense but smoothened out, i had it set to lowest setting. My bro must have guarded over me too.

    Mine popped its first double shift wheelie today. Flew up in 1st landed I popped it in 2nd and it came up again like nothing lmao. I wasn't even going full throttle. I changed my oil to another brand (Amsoil metric) 1 day after wheel came up a little, 3 days later power seems to have increased quite significant compared to amount off throttle. It just flew up like a bicycle. I love my 954 more every day.

      @@InkedAggression Hit 260 kmph today vs a Yamaha R1. I thought he was guna end me, but I had some small throttle left during acceleration :) the guy went fullon and flat, 6k rpm wheelie start etc. tried to shake me off from traffic light 3 times, and I just followed. At about 260 I started walking him abit when I opened full full throttle, , couldnt hear engine above 200 and hit rev limiter twice like nothing x) then the road ended ahead hehe. 954 Oldy!! What a animal. I will drive slower now x) was just a great few miles on a empty road.

    I have a change on switching my VFR800 05 for a 02 954RR. The reason why I whould like to change my VFR is for 1 reason only. The fact that the VFR is just no reminding me of sitting on a bike at all times. I sat on a gsx-r1000 once and the at touring speeds I could hear the engine and on my VFR I dont have that. I just remind me on sitting in a car.....Windows closed XD. Would the 954 give me that feeling of sitting on a bike at all times?

    • @chriskillett8885
      @chriskillett8885 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @chriskillett8885 I'm happy with the cbr1000rr 05. Although I only experienced 100hp. I'm getting rid of the restrictions as we speak. What a pain in the ass. It costs a fortune. Keep dropping the bike like that and you'll damage it, don't close the throttle to bring it down, use the rear brake and bring it down a bit softer before the wheel buckles. Otherwise another fantastic video :D still waiting for the A2 project reveal, you know how to keep people in suspense!
    Edit: referring to the wheelie(s) (not sure if repeated clip)

    • @InkedAggression
      @InkedAggression  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      IKingRoachI i was using a little of the rear hahah video does make this bike look like its coming up higher than it is and hell yea not much longer left though :D!!!

    • @IKingRoachI
      @IKingRoachI 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Inked Aggression Ahh yea, camera angles can be tricky, but it did look like a fairly high and short wheelie. Thought the front was taking a right battering as it came down lol.
      Excited to see the A2 bike, I always thought that a 125 was all you needed since it can easily do 70 and it's just as fun as anything else on 2 wheels, then I got a car and now while the 125 is still fun, I'm saving to do the DAS haha

    • @InkedAggression
      @InkedAggression  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      IKingRoachI haha i did try to be gentle and the 125's arent bad to be fair i rode a yamaha r3 a while back unfortunately camera was out of battery but that bike was loads of fun and realistically all you actually "need" it sat at 70 all day long and had enough to chug it a little past 100, most 125's are struggling at 70 and take a long time to build past that if ever the need arouse to get out the way of someone ect

    • @IKingRoachI
      @IKingRoachI 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Inked Aggression Yea that's just it, having that bit of extra power just incase is a good feeling. I was over your side of the Dartford Crossing a couple of weeks ago, coming back down the A2 on my CBR 125 I got it up to just over 80 but it took a long time to get there and by the time you reach 70 you're pretty much at the mercy of whoever is behind you

    you can easly wheelie the 954 without even use the clutch,one advice,if one day you will buy one use the clutch when you go up and down with the gears,the 954 has very delicate gearbox,if you change gear all the time without use the clutch you will have problem with the gearbox,fault of the gear forks that jump from the gear

    • @InkedAggression
      @InkedAggression  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      MM 954rr i can imagine if i snapped the throttle back it would lift easily i wasnt that brave haha and thankyou for that advice im pretty sure i used the clutch throughout this video, seems to be a common problem with the selector forks bending on honda's

    • @mauro954rr
      @mauro954rr 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i was sure that some times you didn't used the clutch not to go over and not to go down,but probably it's my mistake,and i agree she makes you to feel confortable since the beginning,when i bought mine the first time (the 600 i didn't had not even for 6 months) i was scaried as fuck,but after some meters i felt like i was owning that bike from years..

    Picked a really nice one up the other month but found it a bit underwhelming tbh. Good brakes and quite light for a (nearly) litre bike, but my god the suspension is awful. Soft as sh*t. Have fitted a maxton shock and stiffer front springs, hoping that makes it more enjoyable to ride. The other thing I don't like is how snatchy the throttle is, it's like an on/off switch. I know it's a early EFI bike and is to be expected, it's just worse than I thought it would be.

    Was a bit disappointed to be honest, with how much you have to rev it to get to the real power.
    I guess I've just been spoilt these last six years with my Italian 1200 V-Twin (no, it's not a Ducati), that puts out just over 10% more peak Torque than the Blade, at 3000rpm less.
    By the time I've hit the Power on the Blade, my Twin would be half-way to the next Corner . . .
