Took test drive of this last year..its seriously uncomfortable even for small rides and the refinement levels are poor , but the acceleration and amount of features you get is unmatched in segment. Dont go for it if you want a comfortable and refined bike and strictly is no no for pillion.
The new upgrade has changed the way the bike feels completely. Man I can rev the bike to 10k 11k at 2nd 3rd 4th gear as well and I hit nearly 90 at 3rd gear. I feel so much difference in the vibes after that camp, real game changing things.
I bought the bto variant today they even changed the rear seat and i cant see the vibes which others use to say it almost feels same as my cbr 250r interms of refinement

Exactly. But there is a bit ofhope for KTM. They alternatively make bad looking and good looking bikes. Their old 690 bikes look very bad. The new rc looks bad. But the old ones looked good, last Duke's looked better new ones I hate so much so that I want to chain the bike down and rip it's heart ( engine ) out like in Rambo last part. Apache has the muscle look that's necessary, without overdoing it. Compared to 390 , 250 Duke is more tolerable. The side planks are little smaller and that horrible drl in 390 wasn't also there in it. But the new update to 250 made be hate both. But TVs is also hopeless when you think of service

Naked sporty street fighters are meant for city and highway rides, can do track also on these bikes coz of aggressive power delivery. More touring friendly than full faired super sports coz of upright riding posture.

So it doesn't accelerate for a second when the throttle is released?? As many of the guys has said it earlier that even after closing the throttle the bike doesn't stop accelerating right away! Is that issue fixed?
This wouldve been a great bike on sale had it not locked its horns with Duke 390 and had TVS polished the engine and after sales in India. Coming from '15 RTR 189 owner from Mumbai, everytime I take my bike for service to same service center, there are always new mechanics working on the bike and it bothers me as everytime you have to tell them the difference between torque at swingarm and torque at brake master cylinder.
They have discontinued the base variant without quick shifter. Now the price is bumped up with quick shifter going to almost 3.2 lakhs on road without BTO.

Bro let me share my experience. larger bar end weights were the first thing to get installed on my rtr 310 on january 20 2024. suggested by the RR technician when i got my bike on 13th jan. on its first 1000km service. things forwaded to tvs and i got to know on my 4th service in september that rtr 310 is getting bigger bar end wights.
I am riding TVS Apache 180 RTR from past 10 years and looks like TVS will never be able to refine their engines ever, vibrations is a vital part of their bikes. 🤦♂
RTR 310 was really the best bike at this cost . Answer me because a lot of people say the problem of vibration service issue material quality which one is right

But the base variant of rtr 310 makes more sense than Duke 250 which is equally priced. 60more cc on rtr 310 than Duke 250 makes hell of a difference in riding. Duke 250 seems very less powerful. Plus the electronics in Duke 250 were also worst for the price. Now ktm did the right thing by atleast giving tft color screenfor a bike which will cost 2.80 lac.

Sold it brought a vstrom 250 and ride has been silky smooth
