@@FrankCastle-he8fl that's a pretty strong statement but I think Benchmade has gone so ridiculous on their pricing to make people to say such things. I just got through stropping the knives that were in this video. I might have to eat my words, the Orange one is cutting a lot better. I must have been using the wrong angle when stropping it the last time.
My Ozark Trail has pretty good edge retention. And I've seen videos showing that it has horrible edge retention. I think that's just a symptom of Chinese knives. You get a good one, you get a bad one, it's a roll of the dice.
I think you right! Mine is perfect in every way except edge retention and sharpening...it is almost like a disposable razor material. But like I said the stainless steel one with the blue handle is pretty good.
@@SubUrbanNinja-EDC Well buddy, I’ve never liked the looks of most their blades w/big hole. Good steel & heat treat but then super cheap looking plastic handle. Probably will never own one for the look & price. 🤷♂️🙂
I'll take my $10 Walmart knife over any Benchmade

👍🏼I’ve never owned a benchmade or spyderco. 🤷♂️🙂
@@andrewfett142 I highly recommend the Spyderco Native Light Weight. The blade alone will impress you.

Trying to remember who made that civil war knife I had as a kid.
@@Seouldrift7 try looking up Jim Frost knives. He and his company made a lot of commemorative knives.
@@SubUrbanNinja-EDC That's a possibility if they have a rectangular handle they make with a background on the handle and a flag on the blade.
I have been boycotting benchmade since they bragged online that they were destroying guns for the local PD.
Yeah...I agree. Another reason I don't go out of my way to buy their knives.
