As an aspiring DOP - the relationship of a long lens flatness and wide lens depth of field is really hard to wrap my head around sometimes - I'd love for you to show more examples with other lens you love in a future breakdown - you skimmed over it at the end and seems like there was more to discover in that world ! thanks again for your insights :)

When he references 1 stop over or under exposed. Whats that in reference to, 1 stop over or under middle grey?
Over or under your key, whatever your key might be depending on the narrative and specificities of the shot.

I like your channel but I don't like three things about you:
1. You never leave a link to the original commercial/video you are reviewing nor you say what brand is it for, or who shot it, which I think is very important.
2. You never acknowledge the people who send you stuff to review.
3. You never reply to the comments on your videos. I mean, I get that you cannot respond to all, but some at least?
Once you fix those 3 things, you'll have one of the best cinematography channels on this site. Sorry for sounding so picky but I know you do these on purpose, and you could be better.
