Wintertime Striper Fishing Technique- Slow trolling with a thumper and Captain Mack's A Rigs!

- In winter time, you really have to take what the lake will give you. Ed and I had deadsticked several locations and had thumped in schools of fish but could not get them to fire up. We decided to troll over some shallow points in 20-30 foot of water using Captain Macks A Rigs and keeping the thumper on to help bring fish under the boat. We caugth plenty of fish, mostly the smaller fish that you see in the video with the occasional 7 pounder mixed in. It was a great trip but I kept the video short to focus on the big fish!
