Just did this. A few notes to hopefully help others. The wire harness on my was much more snug, I had to remove the top hose and bolts and was able to remove the housing out of the back, leaving the harness in place.
I drained close to 5 quarts of coolant which was enough for me to remove all hoses without excess drip, I still had a little coolant left in the reservoir (not even close to the cold fill point) I ended up putting roughly 7 quarts back in and still need to add another 2 quarts.
I've read that these hold 11 of it's bone dry so I was pretty close to emptying it completely.
I was worried about rust so I sprayed the bolts with pb blaster a few times leading up to the swap. Fortunately there wasn't an issue.
Thanks for the video. We'll see how this one works out

How about a video showing the procedure for a 2002 explorer with a 4.6 engine? There doesn't seem to be a video of this as it looks like it would involve a hundred more steps with that engine.

+@MichaelBrown-th8bl We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
