Thanks, helpful video Carguytroy. Nothin wrong with hand packing wheel bearings, you still got grease all over your gloves lol. Drum brakes work fine for what they were intended, if maintained and with good tires.
Why didn't you replace the nasty wheel cylinder? They aren't expensive and yours looked cruddy. While you were in there you might as well change it out.
They actually aren’t bad, they don’t leak and work fine. It does need a master cylinder though. Just wanted to get it running stopping so I could move it around for now. Eventually most everything will be refurbished or replaced.

It looks like the grease seal was installed backwards.
The old one? I think it was in right, just an old seal is all.
