Since it was the first week, studio was a bit less intense than it normally is. I’ll post videos with more studio work in the near future (Next video: first pinup of the semester) 🫶
Yes please 😊 I can understand how it might be a little difficult at first, I had the same issues in first year uni, now I'm nearly done myself 😊 all your hard work will payoff 🤞🤞 also I'd recommend u look into a Microsoft surface book, detachable one cuz both my older sister whose a fashion design student n older bro whose n architect have been using the same one for 4+ years with no hiccups

1. Having lessons finish early
2. Understanding a concept/ piece of info instantly
3. Getting amazing grades
4. Experiencing that study/work vibe
5. The day before the hols start
Theses are just little bursts of momentary happiness that honestly fill Ur uni memories 💛💛

For those wondering, a lot of the all-nighter was spent doing lineweights for that elevation oblique drawing at the end of the video. Unfortunately, i very hurriedly threw a weirdly colored render over the drawing, so it looks very bad tbh. Dw though, I fixed it for the following class and later pinup.

Can u show ur sketches if comfortable. Like i really wanted to see how it actually is . I'm going to join this course soon .
If you're not sure what the outcome of rendering you are expecting, just make sure to take a picture or snapshot of the drawing/model and illustrate it on a phone using canva or on a PC or laptop using illustrator, trust me it saves a lot of time ( better than redoing the whole rendering).
PS: don't trust laptops no matter how good it is(the files we work on are that heavy), just buy a hard disk and upload everyday's work on it.
Might be too much to upload but do go for it. It's the best way if your laptop gets f*ed up. I am sharing it with you since I experienced it right before the day of my jury🥲.

@@TheHardestPill HAHA funny story so last year i went to nyu for pre college and this was after my class me and a couple of friends went out it was at like 2 maybe 3 i don't remember but we went into this 1 thrift shop and there was like this older dude working there he looked like 40-50 and we were just looking around and then i see the worker walk up behind us and ask me if he could "take a picture of us" and this was my first time in NY so i didn't know what to expect but kinda did bcs of all the vids on social and stuff and so atp i'm hella uncomfortable and i say "no" and so he goes back we should've just left atp but didn't 😭and then he walks back to us and hears us speaking Korean and says "what type of asian are you" and then were just looking at each other and then out of nowhere he says "i'm only asking bcs i'm looking for my son who wants to marry an asian women" like the way we all just looked at eachother like we all had blank stares and so we were all like "no were good" "were minors" and so were were like "have a good day and just left" yeah and on top of that the 2nd week i was there my computer also stopped working 🙂👍🏾wasn't surprised though

i'm glad you didn't let him fix the computer honestly. nothing he did was professional from his side, especially the comments he made. i really like your vlogs, make me feel motivated to do stuff! would love to see tips on how to still do work when you feel tired tho, cuz for me it's almost impossible because my eyes just can't focus and my mind goes blank.
As an architect working in the area and having studied for 5 years, I'm quite surprised that you have time for social medias. Even more in 4th semester, when for me it was one of the heaviest. 😮 But obviously the education system is different, I'm from Guadalajara, Mexico! Thank you for the vlogs, I miss studying :')

hey , this message is not just for andrew but also to my architecture friends , as i am going through the same stuff of 4th sem in architecture what i feel ,is we may have lots of obstacles while we are growing, this is the point of time we get mental disturbance like why we are still going through this course and our reality also support the bad things and testing us so hard but we dont want to lose our shits we bring all the braincells together and focus on what we do and achive are goals together #fighting

Missing your vlogs already :( idk but I find peace and relaxing as well as feeling motivated to get things done just by watching your archi school vlogs. I know too well how really tiring and busy the architecture school cuz I'm an archi student as well. I think to survive this course, you have to be focused and determined in everything you do and avoid procrastination at all cost! cuz that's what I'm struggling rn tbh LOL
