Sheikh rabee said: “If your sheikh made a mistake, and another sheikh criticized him and the truth is with the other sheikh then be with that other sheikh and advice your sheikh. Don’t be fanatical to him it’s not allowed for you to be fanatical towards him. If ibn baz and ibn taymiyah made a mistake and one criticized them with truth then don’t get angry, he criticized them with truth seeking Allah’s face. Don’t say “wallah this person speaks about ibn baz and ibn taymiyah” if it was with truth and manners and respect. Because the goal is to connect the people with the manhaj of Allah and to not connect them with the mistakes of humans whoever they may be.”

Shaykh Ya’qub Al-Banna حفظه الله said that knowledge based criticism should be accepted even if it comes from a student of knowledge.
I am not claiming to be a student of knowledge, I aspire to be one however the refutation, did it contain Baatil or Haqq?

It needed to be said due to many people promoting Dr. Aziz Farhan without knowing his condition. Now the people who are people of truth, know his condition and know to avoid him until he is clear in his Manhaj.
As for those who hate the truth and despise it, may الله guide them for by Allah if I added 100 clips of the ulema as evidence, they wouldn’t have accepted it.

this is not an advice this gheebah, you’re backbiting the shaykh and ruining his reputation advice him in person if you really want to do so.
Who came with this principle? To advise privately if a mistake is made publicly? Who made this principle? Is this from the Salaf?
Learn what gheebah is before speaking. Public advice is waajib and is the way of ahlul Sunnah if someone makes a mistake in public that results the muslims to follow him in this mistake. This is a fundemental principle of the Salaf, if you dont agree with this then you dont agree with the imaams of the Salaf
