"We don't wanna hear you say (nword) no mooooooore" then drake started the song with the nword as a direct response to this, why wouldn't he also say it a shit ton to continue to spite kendrick, if he's going against kendrick lamar, saying the word that he's "not allowed" to say the exact number of years he's been black would still make sense to slight kendrick. Why is counting the amount of times he says it absurd? Drake draws attention to his n word pass as soon as the song starts. The line about culture is a miss: African Americans have African blood but we dont have any Cultural ties to Africa so we can't claim African culture as our own. We dont have the same experiences as Africans who grow up in Africa even today. Africa is apart of our heritage ( our roots) but not our culture It's the same with Drake, just because he has the blood doesn't mean he grew up in the culture. He didn't have the same experiences and struggles that most African Americans share. He grew up Jewish in Canada. Someone speaking up for black people isn't a bad thing, the "slaves freed line" is odd because that shouldn't be a diss, speaking up about black issues is something Drake has been accused of NOT doing at all. Why are you dissing Kendrick about it when you have never done it. This is why it wasn't received well. Cole saying Kendrick is a grifter doesn't mean that line isn't "cringy" and it showed a lack of cultural awareness on Drakes part. If you are outside of the culture but benefitting from it you can't critique someone who is a product of the culture for trying to bring awareness no matter how you feel about him especially if you aren't doing it yourself.

The point is Kendrick makes this the main part of his message but only donates to his city - which in his favor because it can be a tax write off. He hasn’t done anything to build the city up from its roots by making business and jobs such as nipsey.
Drake also is reported to bring revenue to Toronto tourism with 440 million attributed to Drake in a 2021 study. That’s revenue given to business and jobs.
Main point Kendrick being hypocritical as he has these deep messages of oppression but doesn’t really do anything outside of donations to build up the community, whereas it seems Drake does more actual work for people and communities even though that’s not the underlying message of his music.

Sorry, but this is a miss. Respect for all the production, but it's more opinion and reaching than critical thinking. The n-word part was wild because all black households don't use the n-word, and you stated it like it's a fact, and that's exposing your lack of cultural understanding in the space. Drake ain't count the number of times he used the n-word to match his age, and if he did, it's not clever; it's the exact weird behavior Kendrick rapped about him and discomfort with his blackness. Saying the n-word doesn't make you any more blacker. And this is just one bit that was bothersome. 2 hours of opinions and reaching like that does not match the quality of your other video. Drake was never called a rat. Drake's lip lock line was at the Weeknd, and there is online info on that, so you ain't got to guess and say it like it's a fact. It wouldn't hurt you to look at other people's research instead of making up stuff. Kendrick telling Drake to keep it hip-hop is not an admission of dirt; you so fumbled on that analysis. Drake's history granted him that warning; you didn't have to jump out the window with that commentary. Because so far, after beef, it seems like all Drake's bombs are made up, reaches, or misunderstandings. Anyway, respect the channel, and I am looking forward to more content; I am just disappointed in this one. A bad misstep, as you can tell by the feedback from a lot of people.

Black Americans try to police everyone from saying that word… they have tried to also tell Africans and Caribbeans to not say it and those same ppl continue to say it. Heres the thing, if you try to tell someone of African descent that they can't say the n word just because you feel like they didn't experience the stereotypical black American experience, their just gonna want to say the word more. Get over it. Drake had every right to speak on that issue because Kemdrick brought it up first and because it is something that happens in real life all the time.

Problem with him and the Drake fans is music features is how they are validating help/influence on other artists careers. But none of them are questioning why so many LA artists and names came out in support and appeared at the Pop Out. It's almost as if Kendrick is doing things behind the scenes that we don't know about. If he was just "grifting" then none of those people would turn up for him and speak in support whereas most of the artists Drake has apparently graciously "helped" by featuring with them were silent.

To add to the allegations in 2014, this was a “he said, she said” incident. And the dates don’t add up. The security guard who was called up on scene said the incident was on memorial day weekend, which was on May 24th to 26th, then she says she doesn’t remember and she thinks it was on May 3rd but she’s not sure. She says “fight night” which refers to a UFC fight that happened on the third with Floyd Mayweather, which Kendrick attended. Then the interviewer tells her that he was at the hotel on Memorial Day weekend to witness another ufc fight that happened on the 24th: Barão vs. Dillashaw. Just to give her some reference points, but she couldn’t remember if it was on that weekend or on the third. And then she said she only HEARD it was Kendrick Lamar. The incident was reported with it happening on Memorial Day weekend. Kendrick performed at the hotel on May 3rd, not Memorial Day weekend. Diddy also performed at the hotel on May 3rd for an after party. But Kendrick didn’t stay at that hotel on Memorial Day weekend. He was at the aria hotel.
P Diddy performed at the hotel on Memorial Day though. And he brought along Cassie. So he performed on the third and on Memorial Day weekend.
She says the police were there, but there has been no reports. No reports filed about the incident. We also can’t prove that she was actually worked as a security guard there at that time. She literally just got on camera and said this stuff. And then ended the video by saying allegedly because she’s not sure either. It’s only what she heard.
Because of everything that has come out about Diddy regarding the domestic abuse against Cassie, abuse her caught on camera, a lot of people thought it might’ve be him and that the security guard got confused with an artist who did perform there that weekend, P. Diddy. Names mixed up. Diddy is also known to pay people to cover up the shit he does.

If the latter is true then why would he need to be jealous of Drake? Kendrick does not need to be “the good guy with his high school sweetheart” to get credit for his art. Truthfully we aren’t really allowed much into his personal life for that to have an impact on his career. Yes Drake is more popular but Kendrick is also MASSIVELY SUCCESSFUL and doesn’t need to be jealous because all that Drake has is in Kendrick’s reach because Kendrick is brilliant and loved by fans and more awarded than Drake.

@austynwicks2265 I think you have one fatal flaw in your argument. Simply that people change and they become who they surround themselves with. There are plenty of psych studies that back this and anecdotal experiences of people going to jail being harmless and returning to society heartless. Being raised in the suburbs of LA and going to a private high school my peers mostly became upstanding citizens but I saw plenty of dummies intertwine themselves with gang life (that you could only get into by actively trying). I'm talking good families and upper class wealth. People can switch up easily. The cool thing at the moment was G-Unit and gangster rap. Lloyd banks, Young Buck, the game and 50 cent were 50% of the cds in my car in '06. That literally happened with Chris Brown. Drake does reference his transition in the song "Away from home." Bruh, It's not shocking to me that he cheated on Whitney. If you become a millionaire in your EARLY 20s as a guy from the hood or anywhere, you're gonna play the field and most guys do, especially rappers. At the end of the day he sought help and still chose to be with the girl from his community, Compton, who is a black woman, Idc that she's light-skinned.Them being off and on through the years is very normal.
