- I am by no means a professional or an expert, just a self-taught hobbyist! Although I would like to be a professional in graphics or 3D artwork. The last time (that I can remember) I had made anything arty, whether it's 2D, 3D or traditional, was in 2013.
To start off with and get back into the groove of things, of course I decided to make a Dragon. They're just so forgiving when it comes to making something not entirely accurate, or messing around with techniques. I know I went overkill on the horns and spikes, but I learn faster when I experiment and go crazy.

For the Spore fans - same as with WoW, these videos will not effect my Spore schedules at all. In fact, I've made a few videos in advance so that I could spare some time for this. I plan on sharing anything I make with Sculptris, just for the fun and for anyone to watch me learn/develop (if they're interested!) but overall, bottom line, Spore remains the core interest :) Cheers!

The dragon was absolutely amazing, i wish it was an actual bust because if it was I would buy it in an instant. Definitely looking forward to whatever else you decide to make!
I've been watching your videos and imagining how one could take that model and animate it. This type of work you do could make you a lot of money and earn you a lot of respect in the entertainment industry. I mean, I know this is just for fun, but I'm just pointing out that if I saw this bust in game, I'd be frickin' floored by the graphics.
You need way more subscribers. I subbed for the spore stuff but this is a huge bonus. I can't believe that the last time you did something like this was 2013. You are awesome!

Nice design man I'm making a face in sculptris for my project we have to design a face and use 3ds max to put 6 different emotions on it
Nice Dragon head :) maybe in the future you could work on other parts of a dragon(for practice or future reference parts) like fore/hind limbs, wings, torso, and tail, and eventually make a full dragon if you were so inclined. And maybe if not a full dragon maybe do other heads, like maybe your attempt at some of the DnD or WoW dragons would be cool to see. Or maybe try real animal heads, like a T-rex or a Triceratops or something like that. Either way I kind of hope that this isn't to infrequent because I'd love to see more of this in the future. Also, if you've heard of it, maybe you could try to make some of the Flight Rising dragons in either Sculptris or spore, that'd be interesting
+Bonedragon1300 Thanks a lot! I reckon I definitely will try to sculpt a body as well, although whether it's for this dragon or another is the question. I'll have to look into DnD for ideas but WoW heads, oooh imagine Deathwing or Alexstrasza. That'll be a good learning curve. Overall cheers for the ideas! I'll have to check out Flight Rising Dragons as well

+Valentin Alin Hey, I don't think it will be possible, at least not until EA/Maxis ever decide to give Spore some attention again :( but for the video you may have seen, the only thing I can could that would be is either Galactic Adventures (single player) or Darkspore. If you remember what video it was, I'd love to see!

Saw that my favorite spore modeler also made a video using proper 3d modeling software. Instantly clicked the like button. I am in the same boat as you, I self-taught myself 3d-art as well as code and 2d graphics creation. I really hope you have some good luck and can get a job in the industry.
Note: I would say the dragon is a bit too spiky, and not really scaly. I think you might have just gotten a bit carried away with the spikes and bumps, but overall, its a great model. I'd even go so far as to say it's pretty close to studio quality. How many hours in real-time did it take? It looks like it was one sitting... (honestly I would have taken 8-12 hours, but judging on your level of skill, I wouldn't be surprised if it was half of that for you.)
+Joel Hemphill Thank you very much! :D And I agree, I did get extremely carried away with giving it spikes and horns. But I had fun! All in all this took me 2 hours, as far as raw footage goes, but with small breaks in between I think it was about 3-4 hours
Im curious onto how you have the drag feature. I also have sculptris, but there isnt that particular feature, which is weird and a bit annoying too.

How do you choose object with which you work? I can't get how make one object unchangeble, I just hide another objects and cover with mask which I dont't want to change -_-

Damn... what are the specs on your computer? Because everytime I do some highly detailed sh*t, ( about 2million polygons...😂 I know it's a lot for a model but it's just for fun. ) my computer starts to lag. When I try to open my saved file, it instant crashes ￣へ￣

Absolutely Stunning, definitely seems like something you could do in a longer run. Maybe when you aren't as shy with voice (AND DO MORE STREAMSSSS) you'll be able to do tutorials.

I've noticed that when I make stuff in sculptris it some times gets theses weird geometry seems which I can't seem to get rid of. My guess is that my use of the bulge tool has caused overlapping geometry but I can't get rid of them even by undoing the bulge. Any ideas on why that is?
+moukidelmar This will be hard for me to describe, but do you mean where the shapes and surface just become extremely sharp and jumbled, like balling up a piece of paper? I find I get that when I've overdone a shape and it generates too many polygons, but using the smoother tool seems to help solve it. I hope we're thinking of the same thing

Rebecca, what do you mean in the description saying that you're "by no means a professional or an expert," this isn't true! By definition you are indeed a professional as Spore makes up the majority of what you post on your channel (or what you do on streams), and this too will contribute to your pay. But aside from that, your skill ranges above and beyond the term/title of expert. So no you're not an expert, you're better; but I bet that's not how you meant it xD Seriously though, good job! :D
