Que c'est original ! Je n'ai jamais vu ni entendu un cor alpin sur scène, accompagné à l'orgue ou au piano. C'est beau : autant les mélodies folkloriques que modernes. J'ai vu et entendu trois cors alpins il y a 30 ans à Damüls dans le Vorarlberg et j'ai été fascinée ! Merci pour cette performance !

I just wished it had English subtitles' so I would know what the two young ladies were saying. I was taught to play one of these instruments but not Swedish.
Why dont they translate the description into English or give the option of doing so. Quite a distinctive musical performance that I would like to know more about.
Same way a trumpet player does - she is vibrating her lips together as they are pressing on a small cup-shaped mouthpiece. The tones she can produce are only those in the unique harmonic series of this particular alpenhorn.

It's all the Natural Harmonic series the natural trumpets use. That's why some notes sound flat. Notes run closer together the higher you play.
