Can you make a video showcasing all the ziton fire alarm tones?

Although it depends on the manufacturer and if the system is a legacy, would life expectancies given for devices such as I/Os,MCPs, Sounders? Thanks.

In very general terms some do, Apollo from memory has documentation on the warranty of about 10 years so after that stage if you’re having issues they would suggest changing the equipment. Other manufacturers have guidance that says “should be routinely maintained in line with national standards” in the case of both ZITON and Apollo we have seen systems with perfectly functioning field devices that are two decades old. Panels have been replaced to avail of new functions and tech but the overall systems of maintained can live a long time.

Ah good to know and thanks for your quick reply. It’s quite interesting as even some of the panels installed today such as the DXc is around about a decade and the ZP3 even longer than that again. Even a lot of the devices manufactured by both Apollo and Ziton haven’t changed much.

@@ciarancollins7790 I just looked, XP95 first manufactured in 1993 and I’m pretty sure we have sites that we still routinely test gear of that vintage. It works as installed. The ziton zp gear is at least that old and again just works!

Oh wow! It just goes to show if a system is taken care of properly it really will last😅. Would any of the panels have lasted that long?
