COOLER IS NEVER COMING BACK! COOLER WILL NEVER RETURN! COOLER WILL NEVER BE CANON! Dragon Ball fans have been saying for years that Cooler may make an appearance into the dragon ball anime. But let's face the facts, at this point it literally makes no sense. Black Frieza is born and many have wondered if Cooler may be the mysterious fighter. The theory is that Cooler and Frieza were training. This makes no sense. Qaaman discusses this anime and manga related video about Cooler the brother of frieza today.

I think it’s possible they can use him in the future, if they want. They’ll just give him the Broly treatment, and rework his character to fit in modern times, I don’t think it’s that difficult. Also, it’d be a missed opportunity to not have ANYONE(Cooler, Frost, Frieza)use Cooler’s big beefy form, awesome design.
If you have to rework what was loved already it will come out awful because that's not what people were use too. Goku being stupid isn't fun

Both got green looking ssj forms. Both have a unique restrained ssj before the real one. Both a very quiet and weak at base. Major difference comes from the forms, lssj broly becomes smart while the fan made broly from dbs is very stupid and reckless in his forms. Dbs broly reminds me of gohan in the ssiysn saga and cell saga.
@@sorakazama7031 that’s a gross oversimplification of what The Brolys share. Yeah you can break it down but you can do that to any story. Broly is dragon ball Super is the idea of the gentle giant, who’s temper derived from a legend he has no idea how to control, which is only amplified, by the physical and emotional abuse his father put him through. At least Paragus in Z was justified because Broly did not lay low while Frieza was in reign, Broly was a genocidal galaxy destroying Maniac in Z yes even as a child around Gokus age in early dragon ball based in Flash Backs from the first movie. Broly In super is conflicted in his emotional state through out the movie, and it’s driving him mad. Then to say the one person he actually loved, and the only person he thought loved him die is when he had a mental snap. Finally coming to his senses when he realized Gogeta was gonna kill him.
Top tier form design tbh, thats why i like DBH so much, it gives me my fix of cooler related content, like golden 5th form cooler.
At the end of the Broly movie, Frieza mentions that Goku and Vegeta are 2, and he is 1. That could lead into the realization that he needs help and go seek his brother out. Perhaps he was training with Cooler to achieve the Black Frieza form. That's a definite way to bring Cooler back into the fold.

What if Cooler wanted nothing to do with the king colds galactic empire, so instead king cold passed down the cold force to frieza.
From what I remember cooler in the movies basically saw frieza as a little brat so they can keep that as to why Cooley didn’t like or care for frieza and due to coolers uninterested in the cold force, king cold favoured frieza more than cooler which can be a reason why cooler didn’t care for king cold over time too, so even after hearing of their deaths he didn’t bat an eye.
In the movies it was always made so that unlike frieza cooler had mastered his power, this concept can also be kept and it can be highlighted even more that he’s basically a better version of frieza by not making the same mistakes and he’s been quietly training and going from planet to planet to learn new techniques which can be the reason he learned IT from the yardrats.
As for his motives to finally come out the shadows, it could be because after hearing of frieza coming back to life twice and becoming so powerful himself, cooler decides he wants to put him away forever as he’s sick of frieza somehow getting his own way all the time. But by the time he gets to frieza it’s too late and vegeta has killed frieza.
Due to coolers frustration that’s been built up, he decides if he can’t kill frieza himself, he’ll kill the guy that did. That way ultimately it’s the royal saiyan family that got rid of king cold, frieza and cooler. Future trunks killed king cold and vegeta killed frieza and cooler, they can even make vegeta use IT and kill frieza in hell so he can’t come back

The best way to bring him into Super Canon is to make him from one of the universes that Zeno erased during his tantrum somehow bring those universes back, and have him not related to Freeza at all.
The time to introduce cooler died a long time ago imo. They could have done it in super but they did frost instead .
Cooler was Beerus' contigency plan incase frieza rebelled or fell one day to keep order in the universe, so in order for cooler to be kept from frieza, beerus had his memory erased, and hes been living as a backwater universal entity on some random planet just being his new forgetful self, sometimes his powers would fluctuate and he wouldn't understand why, eventually his inner frost demon gets sick of his peaceful lifestyle, so he leaves the planet looking for answers, and slowly regains his memories and control of his power, born with a higher potential then frieza ( he recognizes being so stagnant he must train for sometime in order to get his powers back) coolers armored squadron has been protecting him and keeping tabs on frieza and the universe 7 for some time, and thats where they tell cooler about this secret hidden dimension where he could train for one year in a day to get his original powers back plus his ultimate power. They also tell cooler hes the only one that seems to have a positive correlation with interacting with the big ghetti star, where all those troops before him who have tried have seemingly died mysteriously because they couldn't control the sentient life form or understand the mysteries of the universe it has collected for ages, including how all the original gods of destruction where chosen, the secret of their powers, and even the possible secret of overthrowing the omni king for good. the big ghetti stars actual knowledge is so well hidden and so occult not even beerus knows some of the secrets it has obtained over the course of time. This ties in with the current theme of DBS as well, that in order to have absolute power you must also have perfect knowledge, which is what elec was trying to reach, but he lacked the physical prowess in order to move forward with his plans, something even frieza was aware of.
As a Cooler fan. I am offended at the title and your lack of faith in Cooler becoming cannon. Besides, I for one can think of an overload of ways for him to come back.

Broly for being the worst parts of Z Broly (the mindless screamer without any of the Character Depth of his Transformed state from movie one) and Cell Max for being Hirudegarn in a Cell Costume, and being another mindless big strong thing with none of the interesting traits of Original Cell.
I ended it off by saying something along the lines of 'Super Cooler wouldn't ever be what Cooler Fans want'
It wouldn't make the character they like "Canon", it'd make a new character with the same name who'd completely deconfirm the original.

They can find a way I think that Friezas origin can be actually told because we don’t know much about that before the events of the Broly movie so a simple one they can do is the Frieza Force got so big that Cooler owned one part while Cold would give Frieza one part and they could be in a different dimension like Black Frieza it would be a asspull but Broly was a asspull in Super and the other characters you mention there will be minor inconsistencies but I think the reward is bigger than that risk

Cooler never wanted revenge for frieza he even stated he would have killed him eventually. What he actually wanted was revenge for disgracing his family and in turn himself as well.

Stupid question that always bothered me. How EXACTLY does instant transmission work? Like I know the mechanics, but does he get to choose where he lands in relation to you? Is it always in front? Can it be from the side? Can it be like behind a rock nearby? If you're in a building, can he accidently teleport halfway inside a wall? If things he touches transport with him, now that he's like God level powerful....could he grab the Earth and teleport it? Answers, dammit!
Cooler is probably just going to stay as someone that might become canon but will just stay as a non canon character.
Frost sorta is a redone Cooler, like how Kale was a redone Brolli. But if they want 1 universe 7 they mby can make him a clone of Freeza or mby Freeza's son. Or mby with 17's wish the 6 erased universes came back and Cooler is from 1 those universes.

What if cooler was in cryo sleep? Maybe king cold labeled him a failure and imprisoned him in some type of stasis. His story still works.

well there is a Easy way for him to be included in the Dragon Ball Super Canon all you'd have to do is say that he's a clone from when dna was taken from the battle on Earth when he was killed by trunks. with them trying to modify it too it to him being more superior. that way the brother angle still works.

I know a perfect way to make cooler make sense. In the manga, frieza says a minion found a pocket space in time, which is how he reached black frieza. The thing is frieza could have been seeking his brother for help with the saiyans. He learns from older frieza force minions that finds his brother disappeared long ago,in which a freak accident caused cooler to be stuck in this place that stops time and space. Frieza finds a way to release him (ala buu escaping the time chamber) and he learns from his brother who has grown in power. But here is the key thing frieza always feels like he is superior to everyone and he doesn’t sense the strength of cooler and cooler doesn’t show him his true might.
I'm taking I guess if you want to say a little inspiration from somebody else's comment but cooler could be from Another Universe now this is fanfiction put in my FanFiction and what I want is that cooler be from Universe 6 and him kind of being a counterpart to King cold but stronger they don't really have to make him the same character as in the non Canon movies

The ONLY way they could do something like bring Cooler back would for him to be in one of the universes that didn't have to compete in the tournament of power. And they could write him as stronger due to the same reason they didn't have to compete. It would still be an absolute gigantic ass pull though.
That being said. Based off of DBS: Super Hero, I wouldn't want him back anyways. It was boring and actually disappointing.

Maybe the reason we never saw Cooler is because Cold sent him off to try and explore other universes (Cold somehow knew about Majin Buu and warned Frieza about him and Beerus-maybe he was into learning more about the cosmos) and expand what their dynasty could learn of and control. So he was occupied for 50 years or so on the deeper mysteries. It could serve as a way for the other universes to naturally crossover again and add to the lore

@@alphamarigi That, or can go with what's implied in modern times that Cold had Frieza through some sort of genetic engineering and that Frieza was deemed the 'Perfect' vessal. And that there were previous attempts before that were deemed a 'failure' for one reason or another and was sealed away as rejects. And one of them could so happen to be Cooler. He could have no prior knowlege of Frieza, but he could learn that he was forsaken over Frieza who seemed no more than a petulant child who had died numerous times could give him loathing in the back of his mind to want to 1-up his brother and undermind the orginzation in some way. He'd have to get strong enough to not get killed off so easily or he can just play the long game. Maybe Cooler could have the same or better potential that Frieza had, but he was less of a child like demanor than Frieza had which led him to get sealed as he could have had potential and the emotional maturity to undermind Cold in some way and thus led him to getting sealed and deemed as a failure.
Why Not adapt that one parody comic Toriyama did where frieza had a son Kuriza, change his name to cooler, and have him be a mutation with his new design.
I had an idea since the Tournament of Power:
Since we've seen about half or most of the 12 universes, there's still the possibility of another Tournament of Power. Since we don't know what exists in these unknown universes yet, they could write in Cooler as being from one of these universes.
He rules a vast empire like Frieza, but is less sadistic and more mature than Frieza.
If he were to encounter Frieza in the 2nd Tournament, he would almost get a feeling and make assumptions about Frieza's character, which would all be correct once he saw Frieza in action. Cooler wouldn't be afraid, but he'd be disgusted, offended, and unimpressed by Frieza's vile nature.
He would also be powerful enough to actually match up to Goku, Vegeta and Frieza at the point in time.
I imagine him being from Universe 12, where Giin is from; I feel it would be a good contrast between Frieza and Beerus. Before meeting Goku, both Frieza and Beerus were lazy individuals in some capacity; Beerus was asleep when he should've been destroying, and Frieza never felt a need to train ever.
Giin is stated to be a competent and powerful God of Destruction, so it's assumed he's very active as a G.O.D. until there's nothing left to destroy. Cooler could be seen as not a evil emperor that ensues fear throughout the universe, but an emperor who maintains the structure of Universe 12 and even values life, but wouldn't leave such an impression when actually meeting him. The way he behaves and acts would be where he strongly resembles Z Cooler other than design. I thought that'd be a cool concept

@@QaamansLand To clarify, I totally agree with what you say. Unfortunately, if we don't see Cooler pop up before DBS officially comes to an end, then he was never part of the canon.
If they want to make Cooler canon, then I say he shouldn't be from Universe 7 (Like Goku, Vegeta and Frieza), but from *one of the Universes we haven't seen yet.*
Specifically Universes 1, 5, 8, or 12, since they never participated in the Tournament of Power. Since they didn't participate, I'm going to assume that Toriyama and Toei will create a new arc about a Secondary Tournament of Power.
*This would be where Cooler is introduced.* Not from Universe 7, but any of the unrevealed Universes. That can be the reason why he's never been mentioned in the canon before.
Basically, Cooler would be introduced as an almost new character with strong character traits similar to the non-canon Cooler we already know. He has no connection to Frieza, and was born in a separate universe, running his own empire.
Cooler being from a totally different universe wouldn't be a bad idea since Yardrat's and Tuffle's already exist in Universe 2.
So he's not Frieza's brother, but he would have character aspects that would create a rivalry/tension between him and Frieza if they ever interacted.
In short, if Cooler appears in canon, then it wouldn't be Z Cooler. It would mainly be a different take on the character; same design though.

@@QaamansLand Non-canon Cooler, I would argue, is more "mature" than Frieza and Frost, but he's still just as evil. Frost's just a criminal and a thug to me, lacking any elegance or grace that Frieza and Cooler have.
The new version of Cooler I'm thinking of in my head (who I will refer to as "Canon" Cooler for the sake of clarity) has the same maturity, but instead of being evil, he's good.
In the Universe 6 Arc, I remember Vegeta saying something like "No matter who you are or where you're from, if you're from Frieza's race then your just as bad as Frieza."
That's not an exact line, but I do remember Vegeta saying something like that when Frost was exposed.
*I feel like "Canon" Cooler would be the exception.* As I said, "Canon" Cooler would be running an empire like Frieza; except he's not destroying civilizations or plotting evil schemes like Frieza. Cooler could be a stoic, compassionate emperor who wants to ensure the safety and maintenance of *his universe.*
So while Frieza and Frost are evil scumbags, "Canon" Cooler could a more good and stoic leader type of character. A good guy essentially, like what they did with Broly. They could change Cooler's character aspects like they changed Broly's when making him canon.
"Canon" Cooler would be serious and down-to-business like Non-canon Cooler, but he wouldn't be evil like Non-canon Cooler, which is the key difference.
I know I'm basically entering fan fiction areas, but my main point is basically what you said it would take to make Cooler canon; rewrite the character.
Maybe my idea's off by a mile, but all I'm saying is that rewriting the character as a "new" character like they did to Broly is most likely the most logical option.
Obviously this is a stretch but they could just say all this time Cooler has been conquering planets on the other side of the galaxy, or another galaxy entirely. Deciding to completely distance himself from Frieza. And after the tournament of power Goku's name became well known all around the multiverse so Cooler finally heard of him, and even heard of how Goku beat Frieza in several occasions. So finally he became curious to go meet who was the being that could kill Frieza.

What If Super’s Version of Cooler’s Backstory was that he got banished by King Cold for some violation/shameful display and sent to another dimension with some ancient technique. Cooler’s name becomes erased but he comebacks from exile stronger than ever.
What if Cooler was living in a different universe. Maybe, he's in universe 6 doing his own thing. He wasn't aware of what's going on because he doesn't care about what happens to his brother and father.

What if Cooler was the black sheep of the Cold family. To where he has been lying low slowly making an empire and plotting to rule the universe himself without King Cold or Frieza's knowledge thinking he died years ago. Then all of a sudden Frieza and his empire discovers what Cooler is doing. Frieza invites Cooler into his ship and talk, Frieza cuts a deal with his brother that if they both train they could both become stronger to take out the saiyans and the gods. Cooler agrees even through its a false alliance and they will turn on eachother when one of them gets the chance after they complete their mission. Frieza is also aware of Fusion in both the Broly movie and the tournament of power so Maybe he recruits a powerful ally in Cooler, just in case he has to fuse with someone to take on Gogeta, Vegeto, or a new fusion with Goku, Vegeta, and Broly

I came up with a way to integrate Cooler into DBS that I think would work.
Cooler's backstory would be that on King Cold's home planet where Frieza's race comes from, King Cold conquered and ruled his planet for a time before choosing to expand his empire across the universe. Being the tyrant he his, he had a brothel, as many conquerors do, on his home planet and wanted to create the perfect offspring to succeed him when he retires. There are multiple eggs produced as a result and when Frieza hatches, he has such an absurd power level King Cold chooses him to be his successor, as there are no need for the other eggs and children now he decides to kill them all, however Cooler's mother manages to save him and decides to raise him, never telling him who his father truly is. Cooler would grow up on his home planet known for being rather strong, smart, and capable, but nowhere near King Cold or Frieza's level. Being raised in relative poverty by his single mother makes him a more stoic, humble and calculating counterpart to Frieza. Cooler's mom would eventually die forcing Cooler to live on his own and develop a more tough exterior.
Meanwhile, in the present day Frieza Force, there is a small fracturing. A splinter cell of soldiers and scientist are displeased with the way Frieza has handled things. Unlike King Cold, Frieza has been killed twice by Saiyans, has made his grudge with the saiyans his main priority as opposed to the expansion of his empire, and has completely decimated his soldiers simply to display his power, making things harder for the Frieza Force than they otherwise would have been. This splinter cell misses the days of King Cold and so conspire to conduct a coup and remove Frieza from power. This splinter cell would track down Cooler and claim to be representatives of the Cold Force. They would know through his DNA that he is King Cold's son and was born before Frieza and so he is the rightful heir to the throne. Cooler, enraged at the thought that he and his mother lived in poverty and suffered unnecessarily, Cooler vows revenge on Frieza for taking his birth rite, but as strong as he is there is no way her can match up to Frieza. the Scientist tell him that with their technology and King Cold and Frieza's DNA they can genetically engineer him to be not just as strong as Frieza with his potential, but evolve him to a superior being. Cooler accepts and so for a period of time, maybe about a year or so, Cooler is secretly being genetically engineered. He emerges with a massive power level that the scouters can't read. To learn to control his new power he goes into the wilderness and trains to perfect himself, this is how he gets his fifth form, as a result of an unnatural evolution.
He then goes to confront Frieza for the throne. Frieza is both intrigued and annoyed that anyone, especially someone from his home planet which he has neglected, would dare to challenge hi. Cooler and Frieza have an epic clash in space destroying various planets in their path. Frieza does eventually win though but not without taking some heavy damage. Seeing Cooler's potential and the ability to use him in the future, Frieza offers to acknowledge his inheritance and offers to split his empire with him, to offload responsibilities. Cooler begrudgingly agrees and acknowledges Frieza as his brother. The story ends with the inhabitants of the universe in great fear that now two mighty conquerors exist and are working together.
Some Notes: 1. Cooler's name before his alteration would not be Cooler. It would be something else, he would adopt Cooler after his genetic engineering to imply that he is the superior version of his father. 2. Cooler's origin story is very Moses esque, but it makes his character a sympathetic foil to Broly, where instead of eventually breaking his confusion and joining the good guys, Cooler would team up with Frieza falling to evil. 3. Cooler's fifth form would put him on par with Golden Frieza. This is DBS, powerscaling is broke. Also it would allow any future training with Frieza to put him on par with Black Frieza or so.

Its been implied that the frieza race is asexual similar to the namekians. Frieza's grudge towards the saiyans isn't his main priority anymore. We've seen from the last few arcs he's been doing his own thing and literally told Goku and Vegeta he has bigger plans (possibly to take Beerus out or even higher the Omni King).
I think this mostly makes sense, and by the way is very comprehensive. It largely covers every point of story questions, so my hat is off. I do believe all the big bads from the old movies will eventually be kind of reworked. Broly is just the first, in my mind. And I don’t think it makes sense like this video says that the Broly movie would have been the best time to have Cooler show up as well. That never ever would have happened. Tarble is around, so long lost secondary characters are very possible. Whatever the details end up being, Cooler will either have been hidden/locked away or in another Galaxy. Your version gives him a semi relatable bent, which I think is more likely at this point. I don’t think he would be brought in and just be pure evil and non-sympathetic like Frieza. Personally I think your bit about some of the frieza force seeking him out, or a similar plot point, to do bio engineering to power him could be used to recycle some of the stuff from metal Cooler/big gete star, not immediately however; he’d have to be around for awhile or that would be the last resort at the end of a movie or end of a series story arc.
The best potential story for Cooler would be that he was far stronger than Frieza and Cold and couldn't control himself in his Fourth Form so they both decided to capture him and put him away.
Then many decades later Frieza decide to free his brother and train Cooler to become a Colden or even Black form.
That would explain where Cooler has been the entire time, why we never saw him when Cold retired and made Frieza the new commander over the Saiyans and why we never saw him when Frieza and Cold went to Earth.

Honestly I wouldn't mind a stupid explanation for where he's been, Dragon Ball has done it before. Rewrite his character and change his backstory a little and then keep his design. Lets be honest, the cool part about him is his design and transformation, that's what we really wanna see.
Could they make Cooler a clone of Frieza? Like maybe they can go with the Mewtwo route with Cooler where some of Frieza's forces think he's gotten a little soft and lose faith in him as a ruler when they learn he could of easily wiped out the Saiyans when he had the chance to in his new form, but chose not to for whatever reason
*They will literally have to rewrite Coolers story/background in order to bring him back. OR, he can get revenge just on his father King Cold, since Frieza is alive and well. And have Cooler angry at Frieza for still being alive and not their father, idk.*

The universe is a big place. Cooler could have learned about his stronger brothers defeat and decided that he wouldn’t have a chance at defeating the super saiyan who killed him. Cooler could be a smarter, more calculated villain who figured staying away from earth basically meant he could continue his empire and conquest without issue. Freeza is irrational. We know Freeza had a training partner last time that he just beat up for 4 months. Maybe he knew he needed someone on his level to get stronger. Hence Cooler training with him. Both attain black form but Freeza is stronger. Until Cooler goes into his 5th Super Shredder like form with black upgrade.
Simple way to insert Cooler. Just have him be King Cold's brother. Then you could insert a say father figure for the two. They were fighting or trying to appease this father figure in an effort for power and right to conquer. Well Cooler, arguably, would be stronger than King Cold. King Cold directly warned Frieza the two individuals he should never cross were Majin Buu & Beerus. So how would he know of this? Tie that in and say through magic Cooler was sealed or locked away. You could even piece this in with say Moro or some other way. Maybe a room of spirit and time that works in the opposite fashion. So like 1 year inside is 40-50 years on the onside. After Cold frees himself he'd seek out answers and learn of the Sayians, Frieza, and King Colds death.
Out of revenge as King Cold is dead, Cooler would direct his rage towards Frieza just for being Cold's son, and if Goku or Vegeta kill him again then he directs his revenge towards them. Cooler could just be a vengeance hungry villain still with the will to conquer what should've rightfully been his. You could make him more cunning and calculating if you didn't want just a vengeance hungry villain. So he could even approach Frieza and partner with him. Frieza could take Cold to this room/dimension where he trained for 10 years. Cold could then catch up very quickly in that regard and be on par or even surpassing Frieza, Goku, Vegeta, Broly, but at the very least it'd put him on par with them. And as calculating as Frieza is, I think he is still looking for a partner figure. Fusion is an immensely strong technique, and one he shouldn't take lightly. And he still has Beerus to concern himself with, as well as the other Gods and Zeno. Surely there'd be tension, and I think they'd both know at some point one will betray the other when the opportunity arises.

Here's my idea of how to pull it off. In DC comics they have this space prison called "The Phantom Zone" I think and they used that to explain why Zod and his henchmen were never mentioned or why Superman never heard of them until they escaped. They were all older than Superman and yet just appeared on Earth and fought against Superman to subjugate humanity. Well, perhaps Coola was dethroned or in some way defeated by Freeza a long time ago (at least before the flashbacks in DBS Broly) and gets trapped in a Dragonball dimension similar to the phantom zone. They don't mention Coola because Freeza doesn't want anyone to ever get any ideas of freeing him and King Cold goes along with it because he only cares about having the strongest by his side (*see what he said to Trunks after he literally just saw him kill his son). Somehow Coola is freed and he wants to kill Freeza, which gives Freeza a valid reason for being a big part of the story. Of course, also find some way of tying Goku and Vegeta (and maybe a few others) into the story as well. There you go, done!
But is it possible that Cooler be either Frost’s brother or a “Frezia” from another universe? Yeah like ya said Cooler’s whole character was revenge. Well, there’s many points he could have revenge on either he could blame either Goku for the ToP or he could blame the Gods for mismanagement of his universe (whichever one that be). So they could be those options.
Hold up, you aren't making any sense here. And that is because you are thinking in such a simple manner about the subject, not thinking outside of the box.
Cooler can be introduced into the main plot, does not mean he has to be like the old Cooler (Freeza's brother). There is nothing here stating that the character, if reintroduced, has to be Freeza's brother. Broly was originally written to be a powerhouse with a hate boner for Goku and drive to destroy everything in his path, broly as you see now in DBS is perfectly calm/gentle and his hate boner was driven by his father towards Vegeta and his family, this is literally the same case. Gogeta was originally a "serious" fusion, yet his mindset is pretty much like Vegetto now, which again changes the personality traits of a character. And we just got Cell max, which again, proves my point, he has no brain power, his drive is destruction, his mindset is most likely similar to old Broly, except Broly was smart despite all the rage he had.
I've posted this so many times already across multiple videos, Cooler can be a new entity "born" from Freeza and 73 because both of these characters exist and still have a role to do in the upcoming arc. Like a fusion, similar to what Moro did. You never know what the outcome could be.
If you pay attention to the hints DBS has thrown out over the years, you would understand that something seems off and it somehow hints at a possible introduction of Cooler, even if a temporary showcase as a villain.
Here's some of the hints i caught on:
-Both Cooler and Freeza have always used the line "strongest in the universe" in DBZ, so this could literally be a throwback/hint;
-Freeza wanted a wish to grow taller (Cooler hint);
-73 was introduced after Freeza's wish reveal (the android that copies everything and can have copies of himself aswell)
-Freeza took 2 heaters in, he will learn of 73/zuno via them (these heeters visited zuno and know where 73 is located)
-Freeza trained hard to vastly outmatch all the other mortals (ingredient to becoming the strongest)
-73 can be absorbed or absorb (Moro data, aka the magic/angel hax), he can also copy anything and match it in power with endless stamina (copy/absorb Freeza, aka the power), he should have Vegeta's powers so fusions will not work against him either (aka, more hax)
-Granolah's AI (oatmeal) exists for a reason, it is the brain of something, while 73 has displayed to be a pawn who lacks "brain power" to think for himself (which is indicative he could go rampant or become under control via influence of others and AI)
Some other semi-important stuff:
-73 is the 21st prime number (AKA android 21 but not directly named 21)
-73 is usually associated with growth when it comes to religion stuff
-Vegeta being worried about Freeza surpassing both of them and becoming a threat (it happened, the threat part is yet to be seen)
Even if they wanted to make Cooler, Freeza's brother, by using King Cold as the explanation, they could have done that easily. The universe is fairly massive, Broly "existed" and was only found out recently, what makes you think that the samething can't be done with Cooler? He could be in crio sleep or something along these lines, could be a failed experiment from Cold's empire, seriously dude, how can you write off the many ways of possibly introducing a character into the main lore. You are worried about them introducing new character within universe 7, yet, Moro existed all this time and he was a powerhouse, even in his old state, same with Gas, yet nobody noticed them untill now. But for some reason, if Cooler exists in a similar fashion to you, it does not make any sense, let that sink in for a moment.
They are going in time trips to explore the past, if you haven't caught up yet with the entire reasoning to DBS as of late. EVERYTHING that came after the TOP is associated with the past or past events that they are explaining now. Broly, Bardock, Moro/Grand Supreme Kai, Granolah/Bardock, Cell Max. Freeza has yet to have his past revealed, the only thing we know about him, is when he took over the empire, that he was ordered to wipe out the saiyans and that he has a hate boner for gods and his number 1 target is 100% Beerus right now.
Guess what, Freeza is now part of the main cast for the time being, and he will continue to be part of it going forward, Freeza is playing chess right now, why do you think he left the saiyans alive? He has reasons behind it, the thing here is that we do not know if his plan will work out or turn against him.
Even Beerus stated "when i kick the bucket", implying he will die, hence the reason Beerus is finding someone to take his spot. What do you think will happen? Beerus is most likely gonna kick the bucket at some point, and the most logical thing here is for Freeza to do it himself. This would change the course of action within universe 7, even more so if they go with "Freeza being the new hakaishin", or leaving universe 7 defenseless which could open the path to invasions from another realm, gods exist for a reason, they control mortal life but they could easily write in extras, like keeping demonic threats away from the universe, we have seen demonic threats in universe 7 often, that could be due to Beerus slacking on his job, but we have also seen such a threat in universe 10, and from universe 11 + 7 mixed (black goku). We also know there used to be 18 universes, despite Whis stating the current universes come in pairs that add up to 13, people thought back then that universe 13 existed but we ended up getting a confirmation of 18 in total, which ruins the previous pair ruling, these universes were wiped out for a reason, a reason we have yet to know.
Pay attention to the things said in the anime/manga, i'm not saying all the hints are 100% valid, but they are constantly throwing things around, either throwbacks to the past, or hints towards something that will happen eventually. Just like how Whis mentioned UI ages ago and lo and behold, Goku gets UI.
why this be any difficult to make Cooler Canon....there are PLENTY on creative ideas of why he never appear or what he could want now, Like you can easy turn Cooler into a SCAR type of villain like the Lion King, jealous of his Brother and want the throne for himself, maybe he already took the throne and is just piss off Frieza is back and want him out of the picture, maybe he never care for the Saiyans and that's why he never bother with Vegeta and Goku, they don't mess with his operation, because they are galaxies apart....seriously if you are a good writer, is not really that contrive to made a great story of siblings rivalry that want the throne of emperor of the galaxy, and he don't even need to be as strong as Frieza, maybe he is weaker than him, and is more of a planer than a fighter, who knows?
Finally there's something that can be placed in dbs canon from fan mangas. Dragon Ball Hakai have a moment where's Cooler was prisoned by Frieza and King Cold. Maybe that can actually make sence. Just rewrite the origin of Cooler, that's all

Due to him being unstable and unfit to run the empire Cooler has been locked away by their father and unpon noticing how strong an unstable mind, providing you placate to their sensibilities, they can be the strong ally Frieze needs as long as he stays weaker than Frieza. After failing to incorporate Broly Frieza uses his last possible choice.

@@QaamansLand This could be a place like the Room of Spirit and time. You could say time moves slower in this space than the outside realm. As we know, you can't sense one's energy across these dimensions, at least I don't believe so. And even if you could, it'd be drastically harder given the distance. Frieza apparently found a place to train, so it isn't impossible to chalk up an opposite effect location that would house Cooler. So something like 1 year inside this space would be the equivalent of say 40-50 years or more in the outside realm.
This doesn't even have to be Frieza's brother. You could write him in as his uncle. Write in a father figure for King Cold & Cooler. They would be brothers fighting for the right to conquer. Being as Cooler would've been the stronger of the two, what choice would Cold have but to lock him away? Upon finally exiting, Cooler would be seeking vengeance, only to learn King Cold is already dead but his son Frieza lives. So he could be a villain out for vengeance against Frieza or even Goku/Vegeta if they ever kill him again.
I also feel this works, as King Cold warned Frieza to avoid Majin Buu & Beerus. He was well-informed, so to say he wouldn't have learned or been pervy to a place to isolate Cooler or even stumble upon such a place isn't that far-fetched. Short of that, I don't see how you could tie him in canon wise to the story. I'd really have to feel his entire character would have to be rewritten and inserted as a character from one of the universes we haven't seen yet.

What if Cooler was a secret member of the Galactic Patrol?
One idea that I have is that he could have went into the demon realm to try to find strong openents to entertain himself.
You may ask why he wouldn't train with his brother and his father but maybe he isn't interested to rule the empire like them and just wants to find a worthy opponent and his family is just simply not interested in that or maybe King Could choosing his younger brother as the new ruler of the empire and that could made him to distance himself from his family and try to find a new meaning in his life.
As how he would go there it would be more hard to explain but a possibility might that just how Frieza's army discovered a planet with a hyperbloic time chamber similar on earth maybe the army discovered a planet with a portal or device that can lead to the demon realm and Cooler heard first of that and he decided to keep that information to himself so now can get in his way and he could just tell to the soldiers to not tell anyone about that planet and told to the soldiers to eliminate the planet of their maps (or maybe he just killed them so he can be sure lol).

It could be pretty simple: King Cold and/or Freeza tricked Cooler into a trap and he has been *literally* frozen for decades now. His massive strength could be the reason they froze him, combine that with some hate-training off screen after getting thawed and... boom!

Maybe Cooler was being too ambitious and traveled to the Makai realm to expand the empire. He's been there ever since for "insert random reason for not being able to leave here" and only now has come out and trained with Frieza. Frieza learned that his brother was still alive in the Makai realm and went to get him now that he's so much stronger. Then they trained. Maybe he was stuck there due to the death of Dabura. There's your revenge angle too. They beat Dabura locking Cooler in the Makai realm and now he wants revenge.
Not all that difficult. We know so little about the canon Makai realm so none of this would be a stretch.
I agree. I don't think cooler will ever be Canon. In fact I can see Android 21 becoming Canon before cooler does imo. Heck, she already is if you consider dragon ball super superhero Canon.
The only way I can see cooler being Canon at this point is if it's revealed frieza had a long lost brother somewhere that his father never told him about. There's so much about friezas race we don't know that you can easily make something up to where they base value on their young based on their power levels similar to how the saiyans were.
And from there, you could say cooler was born with such a small power level that king cold left him for dead somewhere in a dark corner of the universe.
Cooler grows resentful as he keeps hearing rumors of friezas rise to power and the saiyans that he trains as hard as both vegeta and goku to get stronger.
And given how he'd have friezas DNA and they're the same species, it wouldn't be hard to buy into that they'd both have the same latent potential to get stronger exponentially from training. And since cooler would have been training his whole life versus frieza who only been doing it recently, it wouldn't be hard to not only believe he's stronger than frieza but discovered a form that surpasses friezas black form or whatever other form he's acquired.
That or they can just do a cheap arse pull like they did with granola wishing he could get stronger with the dragon balls and gets it.

Sorry busy day yesterday so i didn't get to finish a comment. But a couple of counterpoints and assists to my theory (Of if they ever bring Cooler in)
Q Why was he never talked about? A: My answer to this is actually an idea.
The Idea:
Let me preface this idea by saying a couple of things. Firstly we know the super dragon balls are tied to a separate god that is not tied to Zeno. Now we can use this. (a 'Be careful what you wish for' scenario.) Android 17 at the end of the tournament wished all of the erased universes back alive. if you go back to the clip of that wish The Grand Priest makes a weird face before he speaks to the dragon. Now he could have said it however he wanted.
But i think (Herms can confirm this for us if there is a mistranslation or not) He plainly wishes for ALL of the universes that were erased. Perhaps that brought back a universe from the past that was erased. & perhaps Cooler has decided to find a way to flee his universe.
Q: Why do i say "his universe"? A: Because bringing Cooler back into the story will require re-writing. Contextually "Brother" could mean to him being of the same race. which ties into the next counterpoint.
Q: Why was the reason his Ki was never detected? A: Different universe that was erased once, now revived, too far away to detect, and maybe he has god ki. You could actually support the gods and angels' fear of Frieza against Beerus (because Beerus was told he had to keep an eye out for Frieza and Buu) but they tie into the fact this new Cooler once existed. did some messed stuff. Tried to possibly take out the gods and had his universe erased!
Q: Could King Cold actually get around multiversally to have a bunch of love children throughout all of the universes? They COULD write it in this way, an unbeknownst to Frieza kind of brother, Like Raditz was to Goku. The thing is it's harder to write this way. It's very difficult to cross universes. You would have to have help from an angel or the dragon balls. But it has been shown that there are characters who have done it. And there are Rogue angels such as Merus, so i wouldn't consider it out of the realm of possibility. Other Gods of Destruction have entered Universe 7, such as Champa and Sidra before ToP.
Q: Would Cooler be an ally to Frieza? It does not have to be like that. Just like how they didn't write in that Broly had to murder his father as he did in the old movie or turn into a giant legendary Saiyan Muk hybrid in the second DBZ movie. It has been shown you do not have to include all DBZ movie characteristics. It can be cherry-picked.
And again it's not hard to do this stuff, they did similar things with Broly. If they wanted to do it, it would be easy to not only introduce another movie character but make it support the current writing.

One way to explain how Cooler has never been mentioned in Super would be that he's been dead this whole time.
Suppose Cooler was alive before Beerus went to sleep for 39 years, the two had an encounter and Beerus killed him. Now suppose someone in the present day, perhaps a rogue member of Frieza's army, decided to resurrect Cooler because Frieza has become too dangerous and this version of Cooler was powerful enough to challenge Frieza's current form. This would be one way of adding context to Beerus and Freiza knowing about each other before the start of the series.
That is a good theory but typically beerus would hakai and not just kill

I know my opinion is unpopular when it comes to this subject but I don't want to see Cooler reimplemented into Dragon Ball super. Let's break down the character.
Despite Cooler's and Frieza's differences.... Cooler was always in the shadow of Frieza both in the show and in real life. The only reason he's relevant was because of Frieza. And considering that he's also has a "little brother complex" personality.

The only reason to ever introduce cooler would be to replace Frieza, and that would be redundant. Because Frieza's character has more material to work with. He's also a lot more likable than Cooler (Sorry but it's true) people like the "idea" of Cooler, but in comparison to Frieza he's nothing. And it would also be anti-productive considering I have this strange feeling Frieza is going to be the main villain this time around.
You don't just build up him being in the time chamber for 10 years and a brand new form, and potentially more build up on top of that only to squander it by introducing his long lost brother into it. You just don't do that.

Cooler was the quintessential *"Dare to be different"* character to his little brother. The problem with cooler is that whether he likes to admit it or not, he cannot get out of his brother's shadow. And I say this both in the show and past the fourth wall.

It would be good if Cooler went into the direction of trying to conquer Demon World. Whilst Cold and Frieza were to conquer the living realm.
So with the removal of Dabura, Cooler goes and reclaims the throne but not without adversaries.

Best way to bring cooler in and make him strong is to say that he disappeared before freeza was born that he was king colds first son. Then eventually show that some planet that had a room like the one of spirit and time they had trapped him in their like piccolo did to buu. Then have it that he trained his whole life in there until he shattered through the dimension like buu did and now he's out and pissed.
