Just finished watching this whole build series after starting it a week ago (much to the dismay of my girlfriend, who now rolls her eyes every time she hears another “G’day everyone” haha). I’ve loved every minute of it! Really informative and wonderfully detailed. I’m about 3 weeks into an XS1B restoration, and it’s been inspiring watching you work. Please keep up the excellent work, I look forward to future videos/projects! 10/10 👍
So great to see the full recap video! You did a lot of great work on that bike, cool to see it all together, keep up the great work Brodie! I am looking forward to the next bike video!
I have been watching a ton of your videos. All very well done and explained. I have a 77. It's my first bike. I'm wanting to do some subtle and minor changes to it just to look a little more modern and sleek. I am at a loss of really where to start. What would you suggestion be? I like the look and style of yours.
Thanks mate. I think just changing the seat, front and rear fenders, indicators and tail light would make a huge difference to the overall look of the bike.
I… HATE …. chopping frames of bikes that are becoming more and more rare…. But this build is so tasteful. If Yammy was going to build a “ XS Factory Classic Brat”… they should save the R&D and just copy what you did
That heaps, mate. That is by far the best review I have had. This bike was a bitsa to begin with so I didn't feel too bad about taking an angle grinder to it.
great end to a build series. glad you got the engine sorted and all you have to do now is enjoy it.
@@2wheelworkshop that will make the build flow better 😁
Such a great video! Thanks for sharing all the work you’re doing
Congrats mate.
You've done a great job and the bike looks sensational.
Dude this is so cool! It’s refreshing to see another xs650 custom that is well documented and not a chopper. Im trying to do the same.

Thanks! It’s more like the condition of your Dad’s one rather than yours, so I’ve got my work cut out.. Super keen to see how your Dad’s one goes!
Also don’t scrap the intro! It’s part of the Brodie Brand now!
G day, it the same in Danish. It's called Go dag in Danish.

What size are your wheels and tires.. That isn't stock is it
18 rear 19 front. Stock rims. The tyres have a pretty tall sidewall though
