    From Ecuador - South America.
    Congratulations
Your explanation about center of mass and center of stiffness to find the center of torsion of a structure is clear and concise.
    The video is excellent.

    C5 C7 C8 C9 C10 C11 C12 coordinates need to be interchanged

Nice explanation but the coordinate s of the column C2 C3 C4 should be interchanged ...right?

can you please solve the eccentricity problem of complex plan, like column and shear wall with various size and asymmetric placement .

Dear sir/madam please clarify doubt i.e While calculating center of mass we are taking center to center distance dimensions(0,0) and while calculating stiffness we are taking center at outer edge of column then finally we calculating effective eccentricity. but for eccentricity calculation we should take same origin for C.M and C.S calculation. Why we are taking different reference points for C.M and C.S calculations...???

Will the stiffness (K) value will be same in both x and y direction for rectangular column (C2)

No, Stiffness will be different in X and Y for rectangular column.

what About Beams ? they will act at the Center of mass calculations ?or cuz of similarity didn,t calculate them ?

Is thetr mistake to calculate coordinate of columns...?

    • @Structure0156
      @Structure0156 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes... Column no. 5 has center of mass at 5m in y direction . She has taken at 5.15 m center of mass in y direction.

Stiffness of rectangular column differs with orientation? Why did you use the same?

if u calculate the MOMENT OF INERTIA considering yaxis and than calculate the center of stiffness than u will get same answer thats y mam has considered only MI of one axis

how the coordinates of the columns are taken, while calculating center of stiffness?
here it is given that for the 2nd column the distance from y axis is 5.15 , why is it so? , if the center of column is considered then the value becomes only 5 in the same case.

Gokul s kumar Yes, you are right. 5.18 is the value of Ya, anda benar. 5.18 adalah nilai sux, sedangkan 0.15 adalah nilai sumbu Ya, anda benar. 5.18 adalah nilai sumx, sedangkan 0.15 adalah nilai sumbu yYes, you are right. 5.18 is the value of x, whereas 0.15 is the y-axis

instead of explaining so much about distance between origin and centre of slab you should have explained distance between origin and centre of column
