The devil and his demons will work 24/7 to make us feel guilty and shame into our hearts so that we run from the Lord out of fear. God does not reject but he listens and understands on what we go through , these fears in our hearts and mind is from the devil. God is still waiting for you to come back to him with open arms, he cares and is a loving God, whenever you try your best to be like Him he is glad, when you try to stop the addictions and turn from evil he is glad. What should I do: I’ve been following the Word of God and living a better (Holier) life than before (I was always a Christian, but was led astray), but God still hasn’t saved me from my dire situation? I know that He cares and loves me, so I’m just waiting here for His Will to be done, but I feel so sad and I just want His help.
Keep seeking him, continue to abide in Jesus, I believe going back to what used to have you in bondage will only make things worse. I struggle with this as well, but remember "Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings." 1 Peter 5:9 resist the temptation of the enemy, he wants to make you think God doesn't hear you or care about you, but God knows what is best for you, through our weakness we are made strong."For when I am weak, then I am strong." 1 Corinthians 12:9-11. You are being made stronger and God is building you faith etc. "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3 You've got this, and God has got you abide in him and he will abide in you. I struggle constantly with seeing His character properly because I feel like He's rightfully angry with me. This video helped. Can you think of some scripture I should go to with what I’m dealing with? So I’ve been following god my whole life and I was thriving with him in Texas and Tennessee. But recently I’ve moved back to California where I’ve been insulted and attacked for my beliefs. I need to find something to help. To put in into perspective I’ve worked with over 300 coworkers. And I am one of maybe 5 people who believed in god. It just seems like I’m stuck in the darkness here. And when I try to show by example or help others they just reject it. So it’s made me just go to the word and stay to myself.
1 "You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." Matthew 10:12 (they dislike the pure spirit of christ that is operating within you, not you !!) 2 "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you." John 15:18 They hated Jesus first and Jesus never gave up on us, nor did he give in to the temptations of leaving God or allowing their rejection, insults lead him into sin/ treating them back they way they treated him.

I felt that. I’m so sorry you feel this way, I used to be atheist up until about 9 months ago. I reached the darkest most sad lost place in my life and I finally decided I had no other option then to turn to God. Even when I called out to him I had no clue if I believed or what would come of it. It has been the best decision of my life. I thought the EXACT. Same things about God and this world but God has helped me come to the realization that this world is under satans reign, he wants us to see what a life ruled by sin and satan is like verse what he tells us about heaven. This is what comes from sin, death, rape, pain, sadness, depression, anxiety, addiction, lying. It’s all result of sin and satan and not choosing good over evil. Even us, the “smaller” bad decisions of our own such as lying, cheating, addiction leads to others pain and deceit or others addition and just a ripple effect of sin, even if we’re not murdering. It’s sad but it’s just temporary heaven is forever and peaceful. You also have a chance to be with God, he wants nothing more than that for you. I’ll be praying for you. I’m sorry your not going through a good time right now but I assure you, turn to God he has got you.
