@@The-Huntian wow... I'd sure hope hunters actually identify WHAT they shoot at before they shoot... sheesh... and yes handy to see em at night for sure... dark is DARK out there at night
Mia Beaulieu I’ve never used donkeys but I imagine they’re similar to horses in the sense that they require a lot of feed and water and are higher maintenance than llamas.
Mules, donkeys, and horses have their peculiarities, the horses are very scary to objects that appear suddenly, the mules are nervous, the donkeys are more for crossings, the llamas could go up and down mountains no matter how high it is. That's why llamas are unique in the Andes even today. Saludos desde Perú,
Who manufactures your pack saddles and panniers?
Just started training my llamas for packing
Once on we are good, but my guys won’t stand still like that. More time or is there a training tip
sbeard4 just a lot of repetition! Practice makes perfect!
whats with the neck hankie on the llamas?
It’s a reflective band. Helps us see them at night and it helps hunters see them so they don’t get shot. It’s happened before…..

Wait, yes i’m uneducated, what are the bags for? I’m looking at llamas in 5-10 years
That’s where we put the gear/supplies and the llamas carry it for us :)
Why do you prefer llamas as pack animals instead of donkeys?
