@@xKevmachinex yes, thank you. The car has been delivered two weeks ago. It is as in this video; a gamechanger👌🏻 I never had a car that is so smooth and quick, with excellent balance.
@london3618 how is being your experience with the car? Do you still think it was a good choice? In terms of range and charging could you give us your feedback please?
@@brunofreitas8209 very good experience. The range in summer is 460 km with 100% battery capacity. In winter its about 100 km less. I didnt have the option for the battery to be prepared for high speed charging. The first models didnt have this as a standaard. My dealer installed it. Now I can charge at speeds above 200kw. At IONITY for example. Normally I charge at home at 11kw p/h.
I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the audio/climate controls. I almost never change the temperature in my car. AC is on almost 100% of the time. The auto climate keeps the car at the temperature I enjoy. The temperature I enjoy doesn’t change, so I have no need to change the temperature in the car regularly. What they’ve done makes a lot of sense to me.
@@claveyscorner3220 are you conflating gimmick with different? This isn’t a selling point. They’re trying a new design language out to see how people like it. This is innovation. The evolution of car changes. If people like it we will see more. If people dislike it this will go away. In your everyday driver, I’m assuming you have auto climate. In your everyday driver with auto climate, how often do you change the climate controls? It’s set to 70 degrees or whatever. How often do you need that to be set to 75 degrees or 65 degrees? Realistically, if you change that because you don’t want to wait and you lower it to 65 because you’re hot and you want it cool faster …. Then you just have to change it back to 70 later. That’s dumb, and it’s a thing people do. Obvious exceptions for different times of the year when you may have layers on for colder weather outside the car. So, if you don’t really need to touch the climate controls, why do you need an interface for that 24/7. I think companies like Tesla take this idea too far. With this car, one button press and you have what you want on those occasions where you need the change. This is like EQ settings on a stereo. You’re not going in and changing those all the time. Let’s keep the ability to make changes. But, it’s practically set it and forget it.
great review. Just ordered one a few weeks ago, so here goes my wait for 1-2 years. I was wondering a few things, does it have a built in dashcam? or do any of the EV"s have it? on other reviews, they all mention the audio in this car is sub par, any comments on that? keep up the great work!
11:22 Do you said that it is cost cutting? If they want to cost cutting, they integrate into infotainment system. They can do. And, Digital climate control system is more expensive than Analog climate control system.
Funny you don’t like the steering wheel. The dual spoke steering wheel is one of my favorite parts of this car. Absolutely love it.
Can't agree more
This is a really good review. Thanks. My ev6 - that will arrive in 3 weeks 😅- has the exact same specs as the one you are driving in the video.
Thanks!
did you get it?

Just ordered my EV6 Wind AWD. Can’t wait to get it. I wish I’d been able to test an Ioniq 5, but just couldn’t find one.
Yeah they're hard to find!

Yes, it works. But it's still a gimmick.

Great review! I really enjoy driving this car also living in Quebec makes a lot of EV’s in this range pretty affordable
Thank you! Yes indeed.
