Was wondering, and I noticed other people weren't doing this either, but are you getting the lifetap buff anywhere or just using the gem for the giant reservation multiplier, because I never saw the icon for it. A level 1 lifetap linked to flame dash would cost you a red socket, so probably a few hundred health, but provide an additional 19% more multiplier for damage.
