- In this video I unbox the Dremel Versa to see how it fares against some pretty nasty conditions. This tool really helped to quickly and effectively get rid of a lot of the mess, and I do recommend it. Thanks for watching, please like and comment if you'd like to see more tools/videos outside of the regular carving ones I use for this channel.

If you're looking for more wood carving designs and videos, I recommend watching the video where I carve a greek paddle with a Dremel 4300. I use Walnut, Poplar, and Epoxy! The epoxy was a hassle but came out really cool.
I recommend useing Soft Scrub with bleach in it.
Work great on hard surfaces for caked on dirt and stains.
I used it on my pots, skillets, and baking sheet. It almost completely removes those baked on stains that most people think is normal for used baking pans.
Also I've got attachments for my regular drill that does the same thing as this device. I got mine at home depot.
I agree using a drill with attachments would probably be just as good, especially if you can swap batteries. Thank you for the recommendation, but I somehow screw up my clothes every time I expose myself to bleach.
@@LogsCarvingClub i don't have that problem with bleach because if I'm home I'm probably wearing some junky shirt lol
Well !...that was interesting..lol...
Those other fellas need to give you a medal...
The orange may be rust deposits from iron in your water..there are chemicals out there to remove rust...
I could granny nag you with all sorts of advice..but I won't...you did a great job and the review was spot on..get it..spot on ?!...ah never mind..old folks..😄...
See ya next time...🌿🌿🌿
Thank you Pamela! Hopefully it’s just rust
Granny nag - 🤣. Hadn’t heard that one but since I am one, I’m stealing!!
Granny nag me all your like please.
I moved into a place where the grout was black with filth. I tried everything to get it clean. The only thing that worked was Lysol toilet bowl cleaner with bleach. It lifted all the dirt away and left the grout like new!
This is close to what I do. You can take any shower cleaner and dump some out in a bowel, soak toilet paper in it until it's gummy like clay, and use that to form it to the shape of the grout and stick it on for a couple hours. It will take even the worse silicone caulk and grout and turn it like new again.
Thanks for the review. Next time use Lime-away on the glass for the mineral deposits.
Thanks for the tip! I usually just do windex so I'll need to give that a try.
wow the shower door reveal was shocking, I thought you had the door open but no the glass was just that clear
Right!
The splash guard you have to fold it out
Yeah messed that up pretty bad 😔
You have the splash guard in the storage position
Yeah sorry my mistake
i have one of those! i feel stupid for saying this, but i never thought of using it for this, but obviously it's a great tool for this. im astonished by how clean the glass door ended up. also, the guard pops all the way down too, or.. up?... er.. towards the tool itself.. maybe it's to prevent fly-aways & splashing?
What have you been using it for? I’m trying to think of more uses. The guard definitely helped to stop splashes & keep bleach off my clothes. Thanks!
Guess a brush attachment for any cordless drill would be a better choice
Yeah probably. If this had a removable standard battery it’d be a lot nicer.
Maybe alittle soap , for less splash back, good idea tho .
Have u found any other tools to help with bathroom scrubbing . Have some issue , but worst lol
Thx
The best tool I’ve found was to move and have my own bathroom that I could keep clean haha
hey bro, looking to buy one, how is it holding up? Would you recommend buying one? Cheers and thanks
Still working well, I use it maybe once a month to clean the shower and sink up. There’s probably cheaper alternatives but I don’t regret getting it
I just picked one up for $40 at Lowe’s, I’m excited to try it. I HATE cleaning mineral deposits off glass
How long does the battery last?
Probably about 30min
next time try vinegar. bleach is terrible against mould.
Bad for my lungs too! I’ll try that next time. Any tips?
That orange stuff is soap scum slime
Yeah from my limited googling I think it’s a bacteria that feeds on soap scum and hard water
It should be grout not calk
I feel like my landlord wouldn't pay for grout
40 at costco
I guess I was ripped off!
@Log's Carving Club was originally 50 but they have a sale. Just in case anyone happens to be looking now. Thanks for the video. Was using on a glass shower door earlier.
what bet did you loose to get this job? lol
Haha - only had to use them too often to bear the grime
@@LogsCarvingClub lol yeah bro that always happens to me too
2 hour charge time then 15 min battery life 😂😂😂 this is bullshit
I didn’t really watch it for the 2 hrs but yeah the bat life isn’t great
