You're one of the most enjoyable detailers i've yet to discover on youtube. No annoying obnoxious loud edm music, no earrape microphone, nice angles, nice smooth calming commentary. All from a wholesome guy with 3k subs at this moment.
I'm the proud owner of a 2005 Z4 for the last 15 years and do my best to keep on top of condition and overall cleanliness. I find it hard to understand how someone can let a pretty cool roadster get that that grubby. Great job and so satisfying to see it looking so nice again. A future classic car for sure!
Have the same car, same color. This car was dirty but all the weather strips and plastics seemed to be in very good shape! Of course the cleaning was awesome!!
"Rather neglected..." I'll say. The poor car must have been used in agriculture. It looks as nice as mine does now. In fact the engine bay is even better, as I'm nervous about introducing any water under the bonnet. Fantastic job and a nicely produced video.
Hello, thank you for producing your videos as you are. I hate watching detail videos that blare crappy music. Your videos are informative, entertaining, and very impressive with the results. I will be telling my friends about your videos.
Hello, great work with Z4 and if it wasn't for the horrendous wheels it is as good as new! One question, how do you managed to get those bellow rubber sleeves connecting doors with the car looking like new?? I tried different things and had very little success... :(
@@everydaydetailing6449 OK, perhaps I wasn't using the correct product then. If you don't mind sharing what trim dressing are you using. BTW I watched with great interest as I am trying to correct the peeling clear on my car's front bumper and after trying different thing with no success I am down to sanding it all down and painting using BMW original base coat and clear. The first time I did it I have wet sanded too much and went through to paint when polishing the clear with my DA lol. At least this time I will the whole thing and clear it 30 mins after and not spend hours trying to blend it etc... I couldn't save the original clear coat as it was too damaged and peeled off in large areas when power washing. Subsequently I discovered the bumper had been worked on as thick "slabs" of base coat were coming off as well!

Hey great work on the detailing work you do. Impressive results!!...I have noticed in couple of your videos that say you use Koch chemie H9 abrasive but it shows you using Scholl Concepts bottle likely S20 black compound...why is that?
Great work! Could you advise on the best areas to protect from water in the engine bay of the z4, will be doing mine in the next week or so. Thank you! Brilliant channel and work
Hi Conar will depend on the age/engine size as the layouts change. Things to watch out for, cover the alternator at the front, also the A.B.S pump and any E.C.U type control boxes. Probably best to clean the rocker (spark plug cover) by hand if you have concerns. To avoid high pressure from a jet wash you could always use a pump garden sprayer to apply the A.P.C, clean/agitate with a brush, then use the same pump sprayer with clean water to rise off 👍😀 hope that helps, if you are worried or have concerns maybe drop by a local Detailer for specific advice/help to your exact model of Z4
@@everydaydetailing6449 that's a massive help thank you, I have some work to do on the car anyway and will be taking the rocker cover off so I can clean all that separately away from the car. Thanks again for your advice, I really appreciate it 👍
HI you will need a polish with a bit of cut, Auto gylm super resin polish.. or depending how bad it is, you many need a little bit of compound before hand! Basically when I machine polish a car these come straight out .. so by hand is possible just a little longer. 👍😀

An enjoyable video this one. I've got a question for you: I was expecting you to foam and pressure washer out as much of the moss/compost as possible before hitting it with APC and the brush, just to reduce your work load and the risk of additional scratches. What was your reasoning behind the approach you took? Foaming could be replaced with an APC soak for the sake of argument.
Hi I tend to soak most of the cars with apc for a while prior to brushing/washing areas .. foaming/fallout remover etc .. all very important but budget and time restrictions do come into play 👍😁 so it’s not always possible to do a 3-5 stage wash process.
@@everydaydetailing6449 I can understand that. It's hard to tell how much time had elapsed when you're doing the car but I assume, based on my work rate, it's a day to do everything you've done in this video?
