    For those of us "antique kids" who lived during this era, your releasing of these sweet videos on a Saturday lends to the fun nostalgia of when we were young and gathered as a family each week to be entertained by the elegance of Lawrence and his "musical family". Thanks so much for sharing these WUNNERFUL (as Lawrence would say) programs!!! ;o)

    That was a nice try to try to imitate Ted Lewis, but no one could be as good as Ted Lewis. He had a rare gift when he did his act with his expression "Is everybody happy?" I loved watching Ted Lewis do his famous act "Me and my shadow" with a black actor playing the "shadow." That was in an Abbott and Costello movie dated in 1940 that I have on a dvd.
