So many are gone now. Everyone looks so good there. I had the hots for Tom Neatherton. Saw him a few times. And even picked him up from the airport once when he sang at our church. ☺️ Those were the days. It was always on Sunday nights. So we always watched it.

I grew up watching Lawrence Welk. My parents used to go dancing in Santa Monica to the Lawrence Welk orchestra. My late husband and I enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk on Saturday night. God Bless you. Very happy memories ❤

In 61 Judy Garland may have watched this Lawrence show and heard this Lennon sister singing her song!!!

There were no such thing as No Shows!! You showed up or not be on his show at all!!!

Lawrence kept a tight ship and had strict rules!!!

You had to be a very good obedient listener to remain on his modern shows!!!

Lawrence excluded some members for the 10 year change and hired new members for more modern TV shows!!!

Lol, I used to watch this with my mother and grandmother until Jimi Hendrix came along 😂. Now I'm watching it again because I'm so stressed out about the news. It brings back the days when our country felt so secure. Myron Floren (accordionist) was the inspiration for becoming a musician (and the accordian was my first instrument) ❤
