    Shows you don't need shrink wrap or an oven, Great Job! Always learning something new on here. Thank you :)

      My thought exactly. Tired of struggling with the shrink wrap 😂

    Although it came out really nice it would be even more saturated in an oven with the shrink wrap because most of the colors should be blank on the paper if you have that much color left that mean it didn't all absorb like it should have but either way around is still a good trial and error maybe a little longer with the heat gun and wrap the tape around the paper more if you're not going to use shrink wrap and you probably get even better results but good job

    THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, YOUR TUTORIAL SAVED ME, THE TUMBLER IS BIGGER THAN MY 30 OZ PRESS AND THIS VIDEO SHOWED ME HOW TO SUBLIMATE IT.

    Is the tumbler just stainless steel or a sublimation tumbler

    How long did you use the heat gun for?

      I kinda assess based if the print was already transferred to the tumbler.

    Does the type of heat gun matter? I have one of the small pink ones from amazon and I've tried doing this but it was taking forever. Is the heat gun you have more heavy duty, perhaps?

    • @craftingwithrizzy
      @craftingwithrizzy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think so, the small heat gun won’t do. The heat gun that I have is heavy duty and it already took me 15 mins overall to finish 1 tumbler.

      Yes, I have both of those heat guns and the powerful one is much hotter than my small heat gun I use for acrylic painting. It would burn my paint. The larger one is strong enough for paint stripping and you need high heat for sublimation. They aren't expensive though. Just have heat gloves and a ventilated area with a good heat resistant pad, cover or you may burn stuff!

      but base it on your observation if the paper bleed with ink already.

    Looks great but you sure have a lot of ink left on your paper. Not good ink release

      thanks for the comment. It's a trial and error kinda project. I was just desperate to make it and I don't have oven or 40 oz. heat press, so I think it's a good alternative.
