What a brilliant start to the video ‘and people say I don’t do measurements’. Proceeding to take out a pen and draw it, which funnily enough is probably more accurate than the measurement printed on the box anyway, and also about as much use.

That’s us getting laughed at. Unit variation is one thing, but if he is telling the truth with his measurements about the company lying about theirs, why believe anyone?

This man is tweaking. These are good. I just wanted a set other than my Apple earbuds, and these work fine with a apple adapter into my Samsung phone. Pair this with any eq app and you'll have a fun time.

I agree to what your saying, I still don't understand why people don't talk more about the KZ zsn pro I have had these for 3 years now and still really like them, I bought the KZ S10 to try and had to return them sound wasn't much different then the pro and the BAs had glue over the holes to me blocking sound !

I've been using the Truthear Zero (blue) for a week now, but it feels like it's missing something. My goal is to play games and listen to music. I like to listen to quality music while resting after being tired. . This is my first time using IEM headphones. I live in Turkey and the conditions here are a bit challenging, I don't think I can constantly try different brands and models. I want to evaluate it while the spring sales have started. Can you recommend me a nice model? My budget is maximum 400$. I just want to put on my headphones and have fun. I want to play games, listen to music and watch movies. Please help me on this issue, I have no idea.
Truthear Zero (blue) is has engaging sound signature you might have to reduce 1 or 2 dB the 3k region.

They are a niche set for bassheads to listen to Rap and HipHop...thats not to mean they cant sound good
You got a wonder if we hit a saturation point in the market. How many of these collaborations have been released... You would think any one that wanted an IEM would probably already have 5 pairs
I don't see IEMs slowing down. More and more come out and honestly the average "goodness" has slowly risen. And we do get quite the difference in sound delivery most times.

Maybe they should have gone with a micro-planar for the uppers. Probably would have cut through the bass more.
HBB said in his video about these that he wanted to steer clear of any accepted frequency response/preference targets. It shouldn't come as a surprise that a lot people don't like them.
There is steering clear and abandoning ship. Feel like this is the latter

@@1337wafflezzand also just because most people dont like em, it does not mean they are "bad", since iems as a hobby is about what each person wants, there is not a single "best for all and everyone" iem and it will never be.
however, i do get both points, i do understand why people dont like them and basically call them trash, and i also understand what is the point of this iems.
its kinda funny that, in the video, Zeos just randomly starts vibing with the iems with "run the jewels" despite the fact that he says it does not sound righ and that still he does not understand the iems, and again, thats fair, but that is exactly the point of those iems, is for a momment of vibing with a lot of bass.
i have the Tangzu Waner and i set them to the Fatfreq Scarlet Mini with EQ, does it sound correct? no, is it a lot of bass? yes, does it work with all the music i listen to? No, it is funny? for me, yes, and thats the point of those iems aswell, the problem here is that people where expecting some miracle amazing colab like what QKZ x HBB was for $20 iems, and this iem never had that in mind when created.
Again, i understand why most people dont like them, but they are not really trash, they are just different, its not like the company just said "bump the bass up and sell them as for basshead", in this case, this iems resulted as HBB planed them, it is just not for everyone, maybe not even for all bassheads, maybe HHB should be a lot more clear about that next time i guess.
They’re shipping you out to a remote island for a year, and all you get is hip hop and electronic music and no more than $500 for an IEM. What would you take with you instead of these?

Infact the frequency response that we can see on squiglink is much different from the graph on the box.
Even the graph HBB showed in his video looked different.

Do you know anything about a particular set, TEMALUKE _DCMEKA AO9 how good they compare. I found that the highly acclaimed 7hz Salnotes l isn't as good as AO9 so im kinda confused about the headphone market

I think you did get a broken set, I have this set and it is very good, in some ways it is better than the $700 Scarlet Mini bass set. He put it out to sound like a car bass speaker.

I like these for old school hip hop that doesnt have as much bass as modern stuff(like NWA, Cypress Hill, etc.). I did find that I cant turn these up without some distortion in the sounds though.

Mine sound pretty good...a little scooped in the midrange but not at the level your talking about...bass is extremely pleasing...I get that it's basshead but I'm not a basshead but the sound good to me....
It IS a possibility that something legit failed on my set. I will wait to see the other comments and then decide on what to do with this set. Get another and re-review or not.
If you can, get another set and rereview it cause i really do believe yours are QC issue or damaged

I have this set and i learned that you have yo crank them way up. Also, not all hip-hop/ rap songs sound good on this set. If the track is too busy is sounds horrible. Stick to the basic tracks with alot of subbass.
