My first BMX was a Stingray I converted as allowance and odd jobs allowed in the 70's. Started racing in '80 on a used real BMX that I can't remember. Broke the frame doing 5' drops to flat and got a Mongoose frame I built up with parts from the used bike. Still have my Torker that was my dream bike, but it's pretty trashed from riding quarter pipe. Down here in Rochester was much the same, finding places in fields and woods and building our own tracks and jumps.
Maybe look through my past videos and see if I have answered it or find something similar to what you want to ask and just post in the comments. I try to respond to as many as I can.
Age of the body doesn't matter if the soul is young! Nice to see friends having fun together!
That is so cool! Love the video. Bikes without cables on the bars. Freedom!
I remember the Church Trails as my first foray into BMX jumps. My best friend was a MN BMX racing champ in the mid-late 80s and I was the tag-along.
Sometimes you gotta get back to what it’s all about. Riding bikes with your crew. How ever that looks. Stellar content.
Fun!

It was an absolute blast!
Your channel is inspirational! I just got back into biking and wondering where I can post you a tech question. Thanks for the videos!
