I’ve been a long time follower, and I must say that since Graham has joined your team, he has made such a difference… your DIY game is very strong, and he’s kind of a genius. He always has creative ideas, and just executes them perfectly 😍 loved this one !
Totally agree! Graham will have his own show someday. He reminds me of my husband, an amazing handyman who can design and make just about anything I want. 😊 But Graham is about 30 years younger than my husband and has an amazing future of building stuff ahead of him. I love that he’s part of the team, and I can tell the team loves him too. Win-win.
I’m curious how Graham became so experienced with home renovations at such a young age. Was he raised by parents who were always renovating their homes? It would be great if you added his bio to the team page on your website.
This is so cool. Love the tile and the white cabinets. Accent wall rocks too love the colorThe inset burner is genius. Love the reuse of old materials and all the love Graham that went into wooden pieces esp cutting board. This is so impressive. Chairs seem a little large for that space…beautiful living spaces don’t have to cost a fortune! Great job all
I have been LIVING for your renter-friendly series!! It helps me so much. I'm moving into my first little tiny studio apartment next week and I've just been binge-watching and re-watching all your renter friendly videos so I can learn what I can do!
That tile hack is inspired!! Love all the herringbone touches, especially the cutting board. Small, stylish, yet functional kitchen for a "big cooker". You can tell by her reaction that she's stoked.
Seriously one of your best makeovers yet. Not just visually pleasing, emotionally satisfying, but with FUNCTIONAL improvements. It can be pretty all day every day, but if it doesn't function, the frustration remains. This is going to have a major impact on how she can work and live in her kitchen. Great job all of you! Love the AG team effort!👍
I love your design and your vibe. I’m a retired OB/gyn who became a contractor in my 50’s. I taught myself to tile and I’m pretty Impressed by what you did there. Tile does make all the difference I think. As a Mom though, I’m worried about the grout, especially in a rental. Make sure, that if you are using sinks to rinse out the grout sponges, that you let the water run for at least 20-30 minutes after you are done. Otherwise the grouty water turns into a solid and will ruin your pipes. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way…..I hope you don’t mind but I’m going to steal the use of cane over the louvered door at some point!
Y'all CRUSHED this one! Graham is such a clutch addition to your team - really makes your creative visions come to life and has creative visions of his own!
Great makeover! You really made the most of every space. Very stylish too. And I can’t say enough about Graham. His skills are everything. He has added a new dimension to your makeovers. Well done everyone! 👏👏👏
AG’s video is like a ray of sunshine for me every week! I love every single one. Why is the subscription not reaching 1 million yet? It deserves it! Smash those S buttons 💕
I agree she deserves more subscribers. Perhaps because she caters solely to millennials or a younger audience, which limits her viewership. Or maybe issue with algorithm. Or one constructive criticism is adding more diverse representation to her team and content that could widen her appeal. Otherwise, she and her team are super talented. Her channel was a comfort to me during the early days of the pandemic.
Lots of seniors in tiny apartments. She could do a few of those to create a bigger following. I am 66 and love her content. She could also tie into the tiny house market since many of her ideas translate well.
I love it! I do wish you guys would kind of point out all the different features that you did so we can see her reaction to each part. Like walk her through the changes with the fridge and the shelves and how the self folds down and the counter that's cut out. But that's just me.
I love the renter-friendly option for tiles! And little things like changing the direction of the door on the fridge will make such a difference for her! I just love the renter friendly series. There are so many shows where everything gets ripped out and replaced, but I think working with what's there is so much more inspiring! (Even now that we are home owners for the first time). I do wonder, can the drawers open when the drop leaf is down?
I checked at 29:33. The drawers seem offset from the wall enough that the drop-leaf shelf doesn’t get in the way while it’s dropped down should you want to pull out the drawers.
This is officially the best makeover y'all have done. SO CREATIVE and FUNCTIONAL. The inlay for the burner, changing the fridge to open the other way... the murphy prep space... I CANT DEAL WITH HOW GENIUS THIS WAS
Boy AG really found a gem when you got Gram! He is a prize! Great job on this re-design! Love the colors with the rest of the place, everything is functional and pretty!
Beautifully done! Quick tip, though - “unglazed” tiles are the ones you want to worry about sealing. The term “matte” can also apply to plenty of glazed tiles that have a slightly more honed texture, so just didn’t want people to freak out at the word “matte” unnecessarily. But seriously, installing tile onto a temporary board in a rental!?! I’m eyeing my own kitchen now with new eyes and my brain buzzing with ideas!!!
I’m a musical artist and marketing professional, and I totally use Milanote because of you. I learned about it on this channel. I use it for record and song organization, character ideas and building with colors, inspo for themes and fashion ideas, branding, etc. for my music. In marketing, I use it for color swatches, brand and social media ideas, fonts, to do lists, etc. I love the program, it works really well for me. I can organize everything visually. Love love. Thx, Alexandra 💗
I love EVERYTHING about this! So cute! Personally, I would maybe have preferref another drop leaf by the burner, just because I would have constantly been bumping into and getting bruised by that extra lip on the countertop buuut it is super clever and looks so good! I have to say, these new renter series, studio spaces and more saturated colours REALLY turns out so great!!
Fantastic makeover, as usual!! An idea: I'd use that wonderful round corner to place a semi circled bench (mabe a custom made one) and put the round table in front of it to set up the dinning situation. It would save a lot of space and look fantastic!
And with the two chairs could seat five. Would also be possible to use a temporary larger circle top for a larger table for the few times she might want to have a larger party. Add a few folding chairs and serve on smaller dishes could squeeze 5 or six in a pinch.
this renovation is unreal, so inspired and i've watched it for the third time now lol. i feel empowered to emulate with my kitchen, this one is such a dream. so so great, so genius - I'm in awe!
I too have a tiny kitchen. The problem with switching frig door swing is that sometimes they don't stay closed. Manufacturers do not recommend. I installed a child safety latch that prevents the doors from coming open. I would rather have the latch then the awkward swing on the frig. A Graham styled cutting board sink sized would give added counter space. Beautiful.
Oh my gosh stunning! I’d loveeee to see you makeover some dorm spaces and TINY kitchenettes that consist of a mini fridge, microwave, and a rolling cart 😂 it’s a real challenge but can get super creative and fun!
As a prior military living in a dorm room (who cooks) I love this makeover! Wish we could have seen her reaction to the touch faucet and the change of the fridge doors! Graham is INCREDIBLY talented! Great job!
Just came across this video and as a designer/ artist and builder I’m really impressed with the out of the box ideas that are not cheaply orchestrated!!! I have never gotten my deposits back in any rental I have ever had it’s kind of a prerequisite as a designer I can’t leave anything alone in fact in most cases my transformations stayed after I left lol but most people don’t think this way and these are really beautiful, affordable options that anyone with a little confidence can do!!! I will definitely incorporate the tile idea into any rental clients I get in the future!! Thank you guys!!! Love, Light and ART!!!💪💪
Alexandra, I’m 72, and female and still laying tile and it is the FUNNEST thing to do, a feeling of true accomplishment when I stand back and look at my work. I’m so hooked on you and your channel I’m having trouble jumping back into the work.
This Ikea kitchen deserved a new look. I love the tiles! Renter friendly series is the best. But the carpet is a trap for stumbling, and the elongated board next to the fridge is going to be painful every time she wants to take out some groceries. But looks good in the general picture. Graham is very skilled and is giving your channel a boost on DIY-hacks.
@25:52 That herringbone board with the induction burner is great, except for how far it sticks out. Your client will ALWAYS be bumping into that. But other than that, this makeover is a vast improvement over the way it was before. Much more logical and efficient use of space, and the white cabinet doors uplift the mood of the whole room.
Shout out to Graham for switching the fridge doors! Once when I had a washer and dryer put in the doors were opening in opposite directions and I almost had to threaten the guys installing them to just freaking switch the doors. They were trying to tell me i could just open the washer and put the clothes on the dryer and then open the dryer. I told them if they didn't switch them I expected them to come and switch my clothes to the dryer for EVERY LOAD!! Ugh. So kudos to Graham for thinking of that and doing it without anyone having to push him to. That is the kind of stuff that REALLY tells the person you care. 💖
Okay that is the cutest tiny kitchen I have ever seen. Second, I need a Gram in my life, so talented. I just bought a farm in MD that needs full Reno to the studs, y’all need to come make my place look nice! ☺️ good job everyone!
@@lelurve I know they have not. I don’t know if my budget can afford them ☺️ unfortunately I have foundation issues, so that just increased my price point 🤷🏻♀️
Every week I say “this is my favorite makeover ever” and then you outdo yourself again! Wow! Just…..WOW! And why am I just sitting here commenting? I need to go and makeover something! Inspiring as always! 🥂🍾
I love spreading the word about groat release. It makes grout super easy to wipe off, and also seals the time during the process. It is cheap and such a quick and easy step!
TGIAGST! Thanks Greatly it's Alexandra Gater's Saturday treat! A kitchenette smaller than this in my sister in law's first and only rented bungalow had for nearly 25 years churned out multi dish meals for 5 members daily and on an average once a month party meals for about fifteen adults. The rest of the house was spacious... A beautiful made over kirchenette by AG Team!
I never comment on TH-cam videos and I've been watching team AG's videos since the pandemic started. I've loved everything you guys have done, but this one takes the cake! So much inspiration for my own small apartment kitchen!
Thank you, thank you for changing the fridge doors. I watch a lot of HGTV shows and I'm so astounded by the number of kitchens I see with the door on the other side of the counter. How do you put stuff on the counter, and open the fridge in order to put items in it or take them out? Not very easily if the door doesn't open to the counter. Good on you!!
Love this video I've watched for at least 2 years, I love how you have the vision and have a fantastic team behind you. The magnet spices ,magnetised 🤣🤣, shows that we all look at the world differently but with support the whole picture is complete. 💓💓 I'm a 50+ free spirit still freestyling through life and perpetual renter, l love your ideas 😁😁😁
The space is small but really functional and I love how much light it gets. Graham you are my boy, I reuse literally EVERYTHING, and it makes me so happy when I can do so. The tip of the faux back splash is mind blowing... Like wow. Guys well done, the result is really really nice. Sara Nena DIY
I love the diy prepping tables that Graham built. Also, thoughts: framing the entire sink area with that same wood. More prepping space and counter space too! Love you and your vision!
I've been watching for a few years and I LOVE to see how much personality you all bring to these makeovers nowadays. I'm sure this was always happening but I'm so glad you have chosen to leave all these little funny moments in the final cut now :)
This might be one of my favorite makeover on your channel!! Love the knobs & magnetic jars, Its always the smallest and thoughtful details that makes such a huge change 😍
You NAILED it. It's so gorgeous and I love what graham did for the counters! I also can't wait to see if you end up using those murphy table attachments in another spaces. I'd seen them awhile back and would love to see what Team AG does with it. The only thing I'd suggest for future reference, is maybe give more space for the toaster oven shelf and DO NOT store stuff on top of it. Those suckers get really hot on top and I wouldn't put any food (even the pastas) over them. I only know cause I use mine so much for pizzas and reheating leftovers!
Wow what a transformation! You made it look bigger believe it or not, more stylish which doesn’t surprise me any, and overall just an elegant looking kitchen great job!!!
I'm obsessed with this reno! I would have loved to see you guys paint the brackets under the convection so they blend in, but otherwise it is perfection!!!!!!!!
Every time I watch one of your videos, I think it is my favorite. This space was so small but you did so much to it. I loved the magnetic spice holders and the tile backsplash. Your humor is so fun to watch. You all look like you love what you do and have so much fun doing your makeovers.

Graham is awesome! Such a great addition to your fabulous team!
So true! Cheers to Graham!
I’m curious how Graham became so experienced with home renovations at such a young age. Was he raised by parents who were always renovating their homes? It would be great if you added his bio to the team page on your website.

I would love to watch a Q+A with Graham video!
Totally agree, but 1 year on, her website still does not have Graham listed at the team page, while he's still in her videos... wonder why 🤔🤔
GRAHAM Q&A!!
Graham is an icon. He’s a legend. He IS the moment. Now, come on now.
I have been LIVING for your renter-friendly series!! It helps me so much. I'm moving into my first little tiny studio apartment next week and I've just been binge-watching and re-watching all your renter friendly videos so I can learn what I can do!
This is one of the most interesting of videos yet. Thank you. I will see what I can do to use some of these.
Yeess i did the same thing and my apartment looks amazing
Sameeeeeee^^
I was waiting for her response to the fridge handles! That would have been my favorite part 🤣 such a better use of space!
Agreed! My first thought during the ending was “but did she notice the fridge?!?”
Absolutely!! Me too! That and the drop down table... 👍🏼
Agreed. But I know she truly appreciated it. That's a game changer and was so thoughtful for Graham to insist on. He's a good guy. 😊
That tile hack is inspired!! Love all the herringbone touches, especially the cutting board. Small, stylish, yet functional kitchen for a "big cooker". You can tell by her reaction that she's stoked.

Agree!! :D
I would have loved to see her reaction to that!
so random but the lighting in your office when you're on the couch makes your hair look very red and I am diggin' it!
Yasss henna hue
Yes she would be stunning as a redhead/auburn
Was just thinking her hair looks freshly done, very nice
Good luck getting the 56K subscribers needed to meet your goal of 500K. I LOVE your energy. It inspires this 77 year old lady greatly. Keep it up.
I bet she shrieked when she opened the refrigerator later! The BEST! I love how you help renters feel at home.
Yes!!! She didn’t seem to notice that and the video ended! So many things to see in such a small space! Amazing!
Great makeover! You really made the most of every space. Very stylish too. And I can’t say enough about Graham. His skills are everything. He has added a new dimension to your makeovers. Well done everyone! 👏👏👏
Once again, Graham saves the day! Incredible transformation! Love this!
Such a cute transformation. I’m so glad Graham changed the swing of the refrigerator door. Another fantastic job.

I LOVE the tile matching the headboard perfectly. Such a cute detail
I would add a blue circle top to that cutout between rooms to further tie together. Could even use posterboard wedged in place.
Definitely loving that Graham is in more videos!!
He is such an asset to the AG team. Everyone should have a Graham 😂❤️

yeah I would love to see how to get more prep space especially !
Girl you didn’t just knock it out of the park, you knocked it out of the stadium 👏 this is so gorgeous and insanely functional
Having lived in rented small spaces my entire adult life, I really enjoy these videos. Thanks for the inspiration.
Not me tearing up when Graham swapped the location of the fridge door handles!!! 😢It's little changes like this that make ALL the difference! 💖
Tile hack is pretty! And changing fridge door opening was game changer!
Genius tile hack. Graham is a jewel. The tiles are gorgeous! Love how they tie in to the headband.
As a prior military living in a dorm room (who cooks) I love this makeover! Wish we could have seen her reaction to the touch faucet and the change of the fridge doors! Graham is INCREDIBLY talented! Great job!
Nailed it!!! “Everyone needs a Graham in their life”!-Awesome werk Team AG!

That herringbone board with the induction burner is great, except for how far it sticks out. Your client will ALWAYS be bumping into that.
But other than that, this makeover is a vast improvement over the way it was before. Much more logical and efficient use of space, and the white cabinet doors uplift the mood of the whole room.
Half way through watching, I started singing to myself "You can see my light,". 🤣 I honestly love tuning in and seeing how well you all work together.
Team AG does it again! I am a big cooker as well and you have given me so many ideas for my little kitchen. Love you guys.
Shout out to Graham for switching the fridge doors! hire them so we can see a farmhouse makeover omggggg!! that would be so cool. they havent done a farmhouse makeover type of thing
@@lelurve I know they have not. I don’t know if my budget can afford them ☺️ unfortunately I have foundation issues, so that just increased my price point 🤷🏻♀️
I just love how you take awkward/difficult spaces and make them seamlessly work. Well done!!

I have lived in so many tiny spaces. I love that you give these small spaces as much love and style as you do! Thanks for the awesome ideas.
'Everyone needs a Graham in their life.' Yes! Except he's unique and sets the bar H-I-G-H. Well done all!
love this. I love how there's a lot going on but it doesn't feel cluttered at all.

Graham is a real gem. Talented, smart and practical with great ideas and the skill and knowledge to create and execute them. Good job to all of you.

My uncle was a tile man. A trick for the tiles to make them shiny snd seal them snd the grout is go over the tiles with lemon oil. Pro tip
This is an *amazing* makeover, Team AG! You added SO MUCH more functionality and style to this space. Graham is a genius, never let him go!
I took a break from home reno vids and Graham was such a nice breath of fresh air to get back into these.
I love your tiny space makeover the most!
It's a big kitchenette because in France they're more smaller.
apparently i'd missed this video. Just watched it last night and what an absolute legend Graham is. He MADE this space, esp flipping the fridge doors.
TWO YEARS LATER AND YOURE NEARLY AT 800,000!!!😮 So happy for you and your wonderful team!!🎉
That flowery blue shirt (dress?), your hair down-you look like early morning in an English garden! Gorgeous!
Love the kitchenette makeover!
The kitchen area looks great I can't believe what I saw, what some great decor ideas excellent job 👍🏾
Total usage of space. Your designs are always so balanced, warm and welcoming-looking Alexandra. Just lovely.
Ok, this whole team is beautiful and great but Graham is so freaking talented and his DIY game amazing. Innovative.
Well, Graham is a real asset for your team. He can just build anything.
This is so cute!! Very clever use of space. And let’s face it…Graham is a stud muffin!!
I can't believe the difference you were able to make in such a small space, from form and function. Well done!
Alexandra and co. You kept exceeding your excellent transformation! Your channel is a must watch! 🇨🇦
OMG Alexandra! Looking gorgeous as usual… you, the crew, the makeover, THAT HAIR. Keep kicking ass team AG!!
Graham is such a superstar! We love him, we need a Q&A with him!!!
I love the diy prepping tables that Graham built.
Also, thoughts: framing the entire sink area with that same wood. More prepping space and counter space too!
Love you and your vision!
Great job. I especially liked the wall with the shelves. It’s such an improvement. If I was her landlord I’d appreciate the work.
The kitchen is so cute and so much more user friendly!!! If I was the landlord I would be Thanking you for improving his apartment!!!!!
This make over is amazing 👏🏻 everybody needs a graham in their life
Love the makeover! Just wanted to say how beautiful Alexandra’s hair looked in the talking portions ☺️ more videos please!!
Well done! So cozy, but not crowded feeling ,with so many space saving touches and great ideas. Love it.
I am totally blown away by this one! ❤❤❤❤❤ Loved every detail and yes everyone needs a Genie like Graham😊❤
Wow I just love the colours, the combination of the patterns of tile and herringbone and mixed metals. So beautiful 🥰
The refrigerator door hack and the tile holes 🤝🏾🤝🏾🤝🏾🤝🏾 chef’s kiss
Probably my favorite makeover! It’s tiny but so impactful and so well done! Graham is priceless
Graham is really an access to your organization he is very talented craftsman
I love the idea of putting up a board and tiling onto that! So smart! ❤️
Wow what a transformation! You made it look bigger believe it or not, more stylish which doesn’t surprise me any, and overall just an elegant looking kitchen great job!!!
I love Graham omg he is doing an amazing job with you guys. Love love what he does. So talented. The perfect team!!!
I love the concept of coralling utensils! This is one of the many reasons why this channel is brilliant 👏
I want to echo Alessandra's comment of being in total awe of team AG and all that y'all do. Love this so much!
Just gorgeous, so many cute ideas that brought the whole look together, and switching the fridge doors the finishing touch.
